You were like me at first, I thought it was just an M rated Uncharted (in theory it kinda is) and I missed out on it on PS3 cause I got a 4 then the remastered dropped and I bought it with store credit at gamestop lol. I fell in love with it soon as I got passed sarah dying. The story is amazing and the gameplay is just an extension of said story. Love this game and it's the 2nd greatest game of all time in the Playstation library.

one of the greatest of ALL time bro. i went back to it for the platinum trophy a couple mouths ago. i played that game in grounded mode 24/7 no joke. playing as ellie was my favorite part in part 1
@anxietyreport90374 жыл бұрын
Have to agree...I platinumed it for the first time during quarantine and it was one of the best experiences I've had on the PS4. And grounded is absolutely brutal. No supplies to speak of

As someone that preordered it in 2012 and immediately fell in love with this game at launch, this is one of the best deconstructions i've seen.

Don't get me wrong Joel and Ellie are GOATs but I still think that James Sunderland Silent Hill 2 is one of the best characters ever put in a video game. Everything about his treck through Silent Hill just oozes with his personality, his fate, his thought processes and his conflicts. Now I'm not saying The Last of Us doesn't do it well, but I am saying the Silent Hill 2 does it just that little bit better.
@anxietyreport90373 жыл бұрын
I never played Silent Hill 2 but I've read and watched a lot about it. I can understand what you're saying, the inner struggle he's going through regarding Mary is one of the better stories put into games. I see a lot of parallels between James and Joel

And then Part 2 is deep yet shallow and a major let down for videogame history. Tried too much but achieved nothing but distrust among fanbase and developers. Created a huge ludonarrative dissonance and threw their major target audience under the bus. Alienated the characters and the setting for telling a petty rehashed vengeance tale. So much talent, top notch visuals... And all of it was for nothing. The game prophecy became the game itself. Oh well, by the way, great review. This is still one of my favs videogames of all time. Part 2, well, let's pretend it doesn't exist. If you wanna play it, please do a review here, I would love to see that.

Have you ever considered making a review video for fallout 76?
@anxietyreport90374 жыл бұрын
No, I never liked MMORPG-type games (I guess 76 is not your typical one of these though), and all of the content I've watched on here of people playing it did nothing to peak my interest. I've heard the Wastelander DLC made things better, but it's still a hard pass for me

Agreed, I prefer single player games over online because It doesn't feel the same depending on what game it is. Good day:)

I'm the same way. Online games like 76 can be too grindy for me, but I get why people like them. Thanks for the view and comment
