For those wondering about the lore of the watcher here you go : The watcher is theorized to be a nameless one beings created in the darkness of the song of creation (the making of the world) along with the ancestors of the mirkwood spiders etc. There is very little known of them throughout the history. They are said to display aspects of melkor Saurons Lord in his most evil times. They are to be nameless as they are to horrid for the names. It is believed the orcs woke it up mining into the primordial stone in moria.

I've not heard of that thing you mentioned, but this is 100% the kraken in the lake outside Moriarty. The tentacles show up first and once they cut some more show up and then the kraken itself

Nadir Kraken makes you pay for tentacles, but it is more tentacles none the less

If you can wheel with Arixmethes, Slumbering Isle out, you can tap/untap between each draw (eg. draw 7 = add 14 mana). Also, if I can make an Archivist a kraken (eg. Arcane Adaptation), I can draw my entire deck except 1 card, create a horde of blockers, and have endless counterspells in hand for the Thassa's Oracle finish the following turn.

If something has a stun, it skips an Untap. Whether that’s in its next Untap phase or from something like twiddle. So how this guy works. He etbs tapped with 9 of these on him. You’re going to need some combination of 9 turns and/or things that would Untap him before you can swing with his 9/9 body. Something like a seedborn muse will help him burn through those counters faster. But that’s ok. Cuz he makes a 1/1 for every card you draw on an opponents turn. And when those 1/1s die, you untap him, and add a stun counter to someone else, making them skip their next untap. The dream? Opponent attacks me. Due to Jace’s archivist or Heliod the warped eclipse. I wheel during the attack step and we all draw 9. I make 9 tentacles. I use them to chump block 9 of his critters. The 9 tentacles die. I untap this guy 9 times (which maybe gets all of his counters off, maybe not. Doesn’t matter). The important part is then I get to place 9 stun counters on other things. I put maybe 3 stuns on each opponents commander. So none of their commanders will untap for 3 turns (or more specifically, until they receive 3 things that let them untap.)

@@sushiyumyumz5522 unctus gives blue creatures you control "tap to draw a card then discard a card" it would go infinite if you had thousand year elixir which basically gives creatures with tap abilities haste.

With unctus and watcher out you tap a tentacle, draw a card and discard a card, then watcher sees that draw and you make another tentacle. Repeat the process and you can draw out your deck to promptly thoracle win or adding something like library of leng to the deck will let you create an arbitrary amount of tentacles that if anyone kills with watcher out on the battlefield, then stuns every nonland permanent for a really long time.

I really wish they would a rather the tentacle token to count as a member of the sea monster tribal it's frustrating that my own whelming wave will destroy my own tentacles even though they are part of a kraken

I will admit to being bummed about the lack of the “whenever an opponent draws a card on your turn, they lose 1 life” that you had initially predicted, but in reality, that would’ve been a little broken when paired with mass token generation (just add Ashnod’s Altar and Properity!)

Hmm it really shud have a build-in way to remove those stun counters from itself... still kinda like it maybe, "whenever a tentacle you control dies, remove a stun counter..." or smth.

It does remove it's own stun counters. Tentacle dies, you untap The Watcher, and because it has a stun counter, you remove a stun counter instead of untapping him. Then you essentially "move" that stun counter to someone else's creature.

You should have a second channel(or second mini vid to each video) where you post these videos, but all the cards you pick for deck ideas are in MTGA. You could easily chop up what the normal vid was and edit out non MTGA cards and edit in MTGA swaps. Or just throw those in at the end/when you pick a card not in MTGA. If you already do this, plug it more! :)
