Take it from a seasoned man in his 50s. If you don't have any children, you have nothing to worry about. It's fine if you spend the next 2 years living under a bridge. When you get ready to make your big move, you will, and all of your experiences in life will prove themselves valuable.

This is something I need to remind myself of. Very true. It depends on what your values are, how healthy physically ,and going from there. I've also wasted my life and fretted years more worrying about it. It's no way to live, and neither is chasing empty symbols of other people's norms or approval.

Hi, Daniel. You're my age and you reeeally don't look it. The first thing you should realize is that most guys don't really get their stuff together until their 30s. There are so many people on youtube that have fallen into the trap of feeling like they've wasted their youth by their 30s because of how the internet has groomed us to feel like how we should be by a certain age. Just relax and go at your own pace. I just got my driver's license at 35, found my first real job, got my first car, and went on a date for the first time in my life. There are soooo many people our age going through this, so just know that you're not alone. The reflecting that you're doing is a good thing, as it tends to be a good motivator. Just use that as a tool to work your way towards something more tangible, and don't try to force or rush anything. You still have plenty of time to get your life in order, dude. This is coming from a guy who had a total mental breakdown at 34 and felt the same way you were feeling.

Have you wasted your 20s though? You did exactly what you wanted and not what was expected of you. Perhaps you’re feeling negative now as you’re comparing yourself to others who are deemed “successful” by socitey. At least you got to be with a lot of women in your 20s. I’m 25 and I’ve always only lived for the future, which has served me well since I was able to buy a property. But I’ve only ever had one relationship in my life, which ended over 4 years ago. And I have zero idea how I’ll ever manage to attain another relationship. I work from home and rarely leave my house. Going on ten days straight without leaving the house now. Just because I am financially savvy and have adequately set myself up for the future does not make me any more fulfilled than you are right now. I work so that one day I may have enough saved and invested to do what you are already doing now, going to japan every year and never having to work a real job. I am taking a 15 day trip to Japan this year but someday I want to be able to stay for months like you. It’s easy to complain about what we don’t have in life, and I think you should be grateful for what you do have. You have experiences traveling that most people could only dream of, and you have a supportive family who has always been there for you despite everything you have done. Besides it doesn’t matter that you don’t own any assets since you’ll inherit your mum’s million dollar house someday. And you’ve lived a lot more exciting life than I ever will.

@toddileelee69354 ай бұрын
I have just turned 40 and i can tell you that your 30's are the last decade you have to be and feel young (in my experience) Once you hit 40, it's over, you are now officially old and out of the youth era. So my advise to you is to really enjoy these last few years of being young, rather than look back regretting and being negative. Accept where you are at and go have fun, sleep around, party, explore and enjoy being young, because after 40 you have to start making more responsible life decisions. Also, you're extremely young looking for your age, so that is a nice advantage to have over most people.

Honestly I think people will always feel like they've wasted their twenties (or whatever). If you focused on fun, you'll feel like you didn't accomplish anything and didn't do anything for your future, if you did _that_ instead, you'll feel like you missed out on life and are now just getting old with no possibility to ever experience what you have missed out on. Aside from that I'm pretty sure that whatever happens was meant to happen, so you couldn't have done anything about it anyway.

Daniel, my sister and I have been seriously thinking about this, for we do care. First off, one thing to make clear is that you haven´t got to conform to anyone else´s molds, you don´t have to be 35 with the house and child and wife and dog and yada yada. Do what makes you happy, focus on that, doesn´t matter what it is. You have only one life, so use it to make yourself feel fullfilled-- nothing else, nothing more. Forget about expectations and stop comparing yourself to others, then you´ll be able to, at least, feel at peace with yourself. Thinking about future prospects for you, taking into consideration your abilities (mainly, speaking japanese, your multimedia skills and having great experience at doing "cereal" and flirting) these three following career choices could suit you: 1- Host in japan, 2- s3xual worker in japan and 3- Corn industry in japan. With these three options you would have a- money, b- a career (therefore, a visa) and c- your s3xual needs covered. The upside to all of these is no attachments, easy money and no real responsibility over other people´s feelings. We know a downside could be social anxiety, however, considering all these options are mainly taking advantage of a pre-existing situation, and the people you would work for probably wouldn´t even care about anything as long as you show up, there are no hard feelings about it on any side, and no pressure at all. We hope it helps, take care. Regards from long time viewers xx

Suppose if all fails and you need to work again...I suggest becoming a plumber or electrician. Any sort of trade based job as it doesn't require a college degree. That, or you will have to network and connect with people to find a well paying job....we know how that will pan out for you. It's your life but your mother won't always be there for you. She needs to go back to God one day just like your dad. Then you're on your own.

Atleast you learned Japanese and experienced married life

I’m 26 and just finished university. Still looking for my first proper role in law and co firm that life feels a bit different now. You are no longer in an environment where you are surrounded by people who have the same life circumstances as you. In every odd job I have worked I work with people much older than me. I feel sad for people who didn’t experience the university situation with making a good friendship group. It seems quite difficult to have lots in common with co workers. It must be quite difficult with dating also if you didn’t make university, you must compete and have to satisfy so many different requirements and expectations

" It must be quite difficult with dating also if you didn’t make university " ????? What ? ARE YOU SERIOUS ??? You know NOTHING, mate. Daniel is quite competent at procuring women even in an age where most men have simply given up. University guarantees very little in life, you are very naive.

You traveled, learned Japanese, did some really good art, grew a KZbin channel, married, divorced, dated several women, lived in different countries and are learning about trading stocks. As volatile as the stock market is, at least you are learning about finance and part of an industry that is relevant everywhere in the world. Keep at it my friend. You are pretty smart apart from some of your decisions. Hoping you and your gf make it together. She seems pretty sharp and you have become closer to her. I noticed in your recent video you appear to be falling in love with her.

Well you still make content since you're a youtuber. You may have some video editing skills after watching your videos for all these years. You can be an english tutor in japan or be a flight attendant for japanese airlines or work at customer service at the airport, and you're right nobody cares about you. The only person who cares about you is only YOU -yourself and nobody else. Your youtube can stay as a side husle atleast giving you some passive income. Dont give up, Best wishes to you.
