Guys, don't get the wrong idea. Jan (Pokemon Challenges) uses those videos of youtubers or streamers who do nuzlockes (he did xQc, Mizkief and even JaidenAnimations) as sort of educational videos for his audience who rather watch it to get to know his strategies and tips. When he talks about the encounters he always does it in a general way for his audience and gives them information about which would be the best encounter and why. He isn't like "oh, how bad is this guy", that's not what he is about. In fact RT was the best nuzlocker he's watched so far and that's some pretty impressive praise

@Kobolds_in_a_trenchcoat2 жыл бұрын
Actually literally the opposite. Roland Barthes (the guy who wrote the death of the author essay) wrote it because art critics were putting way too much stock in the life experiences and writings of authors that were being studied and too little emphasis on the actual text of a work itself (where 99% of the public will start and end their relationship with art of any kind). Of course, this kind of double commentary wasn't possible in the 60s when death of the author was written.

Also, go look up the ROM hacks “Sacred Gold” & “Storm Silver” They keep the identity of the gen IV Johto games mostly intact, but fix/ improve a bunch of areas throughout the games (better lvl curve, un-branched unnecessary branching paths, adding all gen IV Pokémon from the beginning... etc).
