An obvious passion project from studio bones, to honor the mangaka who died before she could finish the series. Also one hell of an insane voice cast. Also worth a watch for hibana alone.

Hey, Garnt, if this comment isn't too late, as a manga reader, I highly highly suggest you watch Isekai Shikkaku/No Longer Allowed in Another World. If the anime is anything like the source material, it will be a genuine diamond and the sleeper of the season. You, in particular, need to watch it as your love of isekai and your simultaneous awareness of isekai being a genre saturated with garbage will make this anime perfect for you (granted that it fulfills the source material well.) And, for the record, I think Dazai would genuinely appreciate the anime. I think it respects him very well with its author-centric ideals.

So because the official synopsis is garbage, here's what Quality Assurance in Another World is actually about: It's a "trapped in an mmo" scenario, but the difference is that A: all the players are professional bugtesters, hired on for the express purpose of stress-testing an unreleased game, and B: the game is completely and utterly busted to all hell. T-posing, quest-triggering errors, the works. Like, the protags are afraid of dying not because they die for real, but because there is a very real chance that the revival system will glitch out and they'll be permanently trapped in an animation loop, and that's assuming they don't accidentally clip through the map and fall out of world forever. Some of the testers have gone insane in desperation, some are just trying to live like NPCs, and the one we follow is just testing anything and everything as hard as he can in vague hope that the dev team will finally respond to his reports. Some of it's played for laughs, some of it's played for existential horror, it's kind of interesting.

Me personally can’t wait for Atri the most since I’ve read the visual novel. It’s kinda like if a bit of Nagi-Asu had a baby with Plastic Memories and some KEY anime like Clannad or AIR added to the mix. So, this one has the potential to make me cry. And I’m here for it! The staff seems pretty good too with the director of the anime who did Bloom Into You and Lord El-Melloi while the series composition did a lot of critically acclaimed anime like Steins Gate, A Place Further than the Universe, No Game No Life, The Dangers in My Heart and more. 2.5D Ririsa trailer doesn't do the series justice. 3 ep rule. Honestly it is one of the best running manga RN. 160+ chapters of charming, sincere and CONSISTENTLY GOOD school club life, power of friendship, cute girls+nerd nerding out that delivers arc after arc after arc, all the while sticking to and properly conveying a core message: "Love yourself and the things you love". Read the manga, it is not time wasted in the least (browse the cover art of the 15+ released volumes so far at least and tell me there isn't a hint of soul there).

I've got my eyes on Wistoria. Fujino Omori (author of Danmachi) wrote the manga source. They're pretty good at worldbuilding. So if this can build on that while being (slightly) less degenerate, I'm down.

They really didn't showed the reason why 2.5 D seuction is famous. Also, Too many losing Heroines is such a goated series. It really took the general troupe of romcom and used one of the more controversial traits and turned it to such a realistic portrayal of relationships. Also, Zombie senpai is the best girl. As a LN reader I must say it is def a must watch. 9/10 series def. Same with Gimai Seikatsu. These shows really take character building and interactions into consideration and give a series that really allows you to see very good human characters going through their life struggles. 9/10(def not cuz of incest implications) Failure Frame is one of the best new gen isekai series. The main charecter is cruel, cunning and calculating unlike the avg isekai protagonists which make him a really interesting character. The plot is good too. As a LN reader I can say its a very 7.5/10 series. Isekai Shikaku is also very good . The cast is very interesting and lively, the plot is great and the MC is a vibe. 7/10 series. I still remember that night of 2021, when I first saw that cover "Pseudo Harem" and I read all 120ish chapters in a single night. Pseudo harem is just a really good, simple, SOL, 4-koma style series that is really heart-warming diabetic machine. a solid 10/10 series. A Must Watch. Alya sometimes confesses her feelings in Russian. A very good series with an enjoyable cast of characters. Alya is just a good templat Tsudere. The key difference is you can enjoy both the tsun and the dere together. Its really interesting to see Masachika react to her words as well as the characters interact with each other. Also, Maya, the elder sister, is the best girl. a good series fro romcom enjoyers. 8/10. Raising the Twin isekai is Okay. Its a feel good show focused on the twins and raising them as well as uncovering their identity. Its a good SOL and an aveage show. 6/10 I Parry Everything is just the average isekai trash blot you normally see every season. You can see it if you just anna consume fantasy slop every season but I would not recommend it. 3/10. Mahou Gun is in the same category. Its okay but still not interesting enough. Lastly, Wisteria of Wand and Swords. Three words. Harry potter, Black Clover, Naruto. can't really give a more apt description. Its okay. the fight coreography is solid and artstyle is emmaculate. But it still falls short of what I would've expected of it. 6/10. Can be watched. I've heard good reviews of Dahlis in Bloom so I think you can enjoy it like Ascendance

I grew up with Grandizer in the eighties. It defined my childhood. I watched Grandizer, Candy Candy, Captain Harlock and Kyaputen Fyūchā (Capitaine Flamm in French). It hurts when you say Grandizer is a remake of "some very old mecha".

Elusive Samurai is pretty good. The boy has a special quirk of being incredibly good at dodging and sets out to be unhittable. It also gets really deep into the politics of the world while also having a good balance of action. Sakuna of Rice and Ruin is not about rice farming as the main thing. Rice farming is how you level up and gain skills. You play as a young harvest god who messes up big time ruining the rice meant for a large party. Banished to the human realm to learn humility and more about herself and her parents. She also is tasked with dealing with demons on this island, this is the main point as it is an action platformer. it does get really grindy but it is fun and worth picking up.

Actually, right now, only one summer title has caught my interest; Sakuna: of Rice and Ruin. I bought and played the game, AND had a LOT of FUN with ALL of the elements of the game. The trailer looks VERY promising, so unless the studio gets the whole Game to Anime translation wrong, I am very looking forward to watching this anime. As well as My Deer Friend too; that looks to be as crazy as AHO GIRL. BTW, I don't know if you enjoy playing video games or not, but if you do, you SHOULD try out Sakuna: of Rice and Ruin.
