I agree with you. I like the first one the best out of the 4 scrunchies. Have you ever tried making a scrunchie that uses a pre-made elastic hair tie in the middle instead of elastic? I've seen that Kittenish Behavior likes to use a sewing tutorial and pattern from Threads Magazine that uses the elastic hair tie that I'm curious about.

Thanks for watching! I did look into that method while I was doing my research. I felt like it was too much work to constantly smooth the fabric with the elastic already in there. Versus sewing a flat piece of fabric and adding the elastic afterwards. That was just my experience though.

Burrito method is my go-to but I find it easier not to bother pinning anything. Also fyi-it’s bodkin not bobkin. I’m sure if your viewers search to buy one, that Google or whatever, it would autocorrect it anyway, but it’s nice to know.
