Saw it last night in the theater by myself. Literally. Not another soul in the auditorium. My fave way to see a film. Really liked it. Love a slow burn, but I do agree-I was growing a little impatient with the slow pace of the burn. But definitely recommend. Excellent film-had me feeling all the right kinds of dread. Smart and atmospheric.

I agree with your sentiment on this film. Just got home after seeing it. I think I was expecting a little more with the story…. It wasn’t bad and it wasn’t the best… However, I did invest my mind on what it would be like to be stuck there and how cold it would have been. Survival there would suck for sure. I give it a 7/10.

I have not seen it yet. To me the best horror of the year so far is The Girl With the Needle. It's based on a true story. Don't even read about it, just go. It felt like the blood drained from my body by the end.

In regards to Robert Eggers, I liked "The Damned" a lot more than I liked Eggers's "Nosferatu" I thought Eggers "Nosterau struggled with a lot more than just a couple of things

I’m right there with you. I was upset that I use my Christmas gift card to AMC for this film. 🙄🤦🏻‍♂️ everyone in the film was just hallucinating the same thing with the horrible ending. When the lights came on you could hear the discontent in theater.
