To answer this question 1:02:38 Kazuha showed a great example earlier when his late friend's visioned glowed. His greatest ambition was to go against the Shogun and when Kazuha did it, he carried his dream out for him. The visions on the statue doesnt necessarily belong to all the members of the resistance but they rather glowed because for a moment, the people of Inazuma's ambitions connected into that one moment to end the decree. That's why the cutscene was one of the powerful in the game for me. You can share ambitions and dreams with others especially when you're close to one another. That's the beauty of people.

Exactly. It's so astonishing to me how so many people did not get that, nor the entire point of inazuma's quest. I thought it was very clear without saying much that that was what was happening after all the talk of ambition of humanity. (On top of that, for people saying that it was rushed, I understand but no nation is completed yet. That is for damn sure. We've harkoned back so far to both Lihue and inazuma since the time sumeru released. And mondstadt specifically is most certainly not done. Im not sure if anyone noticed this but at 34:27, the traveler strikes the jade chamber in the center of that specific platform at the front of the chamber. Later when we help rebuild the Jade Chamber we see that there is an adeptal control module underneath the same area. This helps explain to me at least why the chamber acted like a nuke instead of just crumbling like it should of, we simply overloaded the adeptal magic in the module which made it explode.

Like, yes, obviously. In lore, vision users are also not limited by what they can do in the game and can create shields and fully control the element and so on. And the game world itself is much smaller than the real one, this can be understood from the manga, the books, the anime trailer and the fact that the building is larger inside because it takes into account the real size of the building, and the building outside is reduced by the standards of the game.

To be honest, if they overhauled the traveller and used the Aim-Mode toggle button for switching elements. Basically a Lite-version of the overhaul would be: Normal Attack level is shared across all elements just like level/ascension status is (it's the exact same talent on every element, there's no excuse for it to need to be leveled every time. The new skill/bursts at least make sense that they'd take some effort and practice to master the new element but their melee combat never changes from what they began the game with). Burst costs and cooldowns are standardized to 60 energy and 15 seconds. Skill cooldown is standardized to 6 seconds. Burst Cooldown is shared between elements, while Skill cooldowns are not. As a test case, the traveler can initially equip up to 2 elements at a time (system might be expanded later). Tapping Aim-Mode will shift the active skill and burst between elements. The Ascension and Con passives of both selected elements are always active as applicable, and the traveler counts as both elements for resonance and other element dependent purposes (such as disabling Nilou's bonuses or counting as multiple unique elements for Yun Jin's bonus). Additionally you no longer have to change elements at statues, and they're instead equipped in the character menu on the attributes page. Unlocking a new element will automatically go into a open slot or replace the active element if both slots are full. the talent and constellation pages have tabs for managing each element you have unlocked. Even if they're individually still one of the worst element users, being able to mess around with Resonance or enable bonuses, as well as have a little bit more reaction flexibility (including the ability for self-reactions) might give the traveler a decent enough niche to consider using them even after you've gotten someone to fill that elemental role for your comp.

Xiao's cutscene in Chasm is the 1st time I ever cried during Genshin's story, just the thought of losing such a nice person like Xiao is heartbreaking. Like... all he's ever known is despair, loss and suffering, yet he was about to sacrifice himself for some people he just met. Definitely my favouite character in this game. People don't love him because he's edgy 'n cool, they love him because he's a genuinely amazing person.

The thing with Nilou is that I feel she’s been massively misunderstood because people are more focused on the bigger picture. Her passion is to express emotion and story through art and performance (a bit like Yun Jin). She becomes totally overlooked because it appears she hasn’t contributed a lot, only by doing a few dances. But from her point of view, she’s grown up in a nation where they don’t appreciate art forms and eventually banned what she and others are most passionate of. She defies the government by never backing down and continuing to perform and the biggest message is sent when she does so during the rescuing of the God of Wisdom. Of course depending on one’s own appreciation for art, some will feel more in favour of her character and story than others. That is merely my take on it seeing as her bravery came from devoting herself to her talents, her nation, and her God. I hope this can help share some perspective.

I really appreciate nilou in genshin, her character has was inspired by Iranian culture (I myself am persian) so it means alot to me that she could dance, she's also doing a persian dance knowing she isnt allowed to do it but she still does. It really represents how iranian women are oppressed and how they can't do anything due to the government her outfit is also inspired by persian culture and her name stems from "niloufar" (Latin letters) which means lotus, she even has a lotus on her back Edit: her dancing against the government's will is also in the way connected to irl since at the time of the 3.0 genshin update the Iranian woman were protesting against the government just like Nilou was doing in a way. Despite her character being not that important she stood her ground and that's what matters

I think she was actually supposed to be a 5-star. If you watch Teyvat chapter storyline: Travail, Ningguang was featured for the Liyue arc along other 5 star characters (Diluc, Ayaka, Cyno, Lyney and Lynette and an unnamed character from Natlan) It would not have made sense if she's the only 4 star there. So everyone's guess is, Mihoyo decided to change her into 4- star later on. Reasons? unclear, but they guessed it was done to balance out the 5-star to 4-star ratio of Geo characters.

It’s sad but the only region that ever calls the traveler by their given title is Mondstadt with the Honorary Knight title, Liyue somewhat calls them the hero of Liyue, but nobody else but the shogun calls them the enemy of eternity, only Watatsumi calls them captain, and well I guess the only one talking to the traveler by a title would be the Aranara in Sumeru with golden Nara

Something I find interesting is that, during the dance of Sabzerus scene, all of the NPC’s are glowing gold, except Dunyarzad who is glowing a dark blue. As you’ve mentioned, gold seems to be the light element/ all the elements together, but that dark blue colors is often seen with abyss enemies and even the spiral abyss portal in musk reef. The reason why I bring this up is becaus Dunyarzad had Eleazar at this time, and Eleazar comes from forbidden knowledge which is highly suspected to be the abyss orders power source.

Two moments absolutely sold me when playing. The first was the childe boss fight. I played it pre-nerf and it took what felt like half an hour and tense the entire time. I beat it the first try and I had a genuine feeling having overcome a harbinger. It was in that moment I knew I was in to see more. The second was Ayaka's story quest. The quest was fun and a cool refresh from the atmosphere of inazuma. But after her dance, when the traveler was humming the same song, is when I knew there was something special here.

I think the reason we could use 2 elements there is bc he uses two elements: hydro and electro bc of the delusion. you could also argue that he uses an abyssal element too bc of his abyss trip. I think that might be why we dont use the double elements again in a cutscene. would be pretty cool is that was the case

Just a Theory that came up to mind while watching, We know that Makoto and Ei look very similar, except they wear slightly different colours, Rukkhadevata and Kusanali look exactly the same, we also know that in Fontaine too there are two archons As for some reason why Hoyo doesn't want to make seperate desigs for the archons, this time i think Focalors is gonna use the same design as previous archon with slight touches according to her personality, its becoz as Oceanid in Liyue says in one of her lines, "The Power of Water, is its ability to take any shape" so, by that means, Focalors could take any desired form she chooses and for some reason, she chooses the current design, most probably inspired from prev archon What could even be crazier would be if Focalors could turn into anybody she wants to, imagine she could do anything impersonating anyone, and then enjoy getting random people to trials, what i think could be what Nahida meant while talking about Focalors....Just connecting random dots, correct me if I'm wrong tho 😄

Wow, I'm always thinking how much better the storytelling / animation has got in recent patches but damn! Watching back those scenes from Mondstadt, Liyue and Inazuma i forgot just how much i loved them! This was so enjoyable to watch! Patrick literally gives me chills in his portrayal as Wanderer / Scara. The pain in his voice as Nahida takes the gnosis, his reason for being, the very thing he was designed to hold but told he was too weak and the very last thing he owns that ties him to his old life and his mother. Two scenes i would love to see in the future but i really don't think they would or could ever do it is Scaramouche and Raiden meeting again and Dottore interacting with Collie or Cyno/ Tighnari and the acknowledgement of him torturing her from the manga. But i feel that would be way too dark for the game to tackle.

But also like the souls are red in this cut scenes. Corrupted compared to the blue souls we find in enkonomiya, halfdan, and the souls on tsurumi island. Enemies that fight also turn red when they die. Except maybe the fatui who are human and turn blue particles. And other things we kill. Like animals. Also I noticed on isteroth statue in inazuma the necklace almost looks like the eye of the storm.

52:55 to chat saying that the war was poorly executed, i disagree. we entered the war when all of the build up of conflict between the two parties has already happened, which i think makes more sense then the traveler arriving RIGHT when the war _just_ began. to me that would make even less sense and the resolution would feel even _more_ rushed. us arriving almost at the end of the war makes the pacing of inazuma actually ok to me. at first it did feel kinda rushed, but once you understand that this war has been ongoing for ages and the traveler was simply a catalyst to it’s ending, then the story feels more complete. we didn’t need a ton of acts to know what happened before we arrived, cuz it would’ve just been boring scenes of exposition.

I'm part of the minority that loved the Inazuma story when doing it for the first time, but I do think it's just way too rushed, and I think Hoyo agrees and is still trying to patch out the plotholes, we literally had no idea how the army with gorou and kazuha got to us at the right moment until Ayato's TRAILER came out, like 3 patches AFTER the story had already concluded, and overall there are still a lot more unanswered questions and moments that could've been executed a LOT better. I think we needed another archon quest before the final one, to find out more about the fatui involvement, Teppei could've been used better and just the war that we only saw basically the aftermath of could've been so much more interesting, with many character storylines just being completely cut off, like we saw Kokomi for like 5 minutes of screentime, like the main leader of the resistance..., Kamisato clan just never shows up after leaving off Thoma and probably more stuff I've forgotten.

@@dzintars8034 that would be cool to experience, an inazuma interlude chapter (which i recall we never got). i do think that teppei’s story should have been executed better, bcuz in all honestly, i had no idea he died until they confirmed it later on; he just seemed like this random and annoying npc that HYV forced us to show sympathy for so that the traveler could have _some_ reason and malice to fight scaramouche after his death. and yeah a lot of the characters that _should have_ played a part in our ending towards the war should’ve had more screentime. i think we only saw most of the characters together during the nazuchi beach battle, but even that didn’t showcase any of them properly.

ohh finally someone who also thinks that the thing with teppei (and the whole second part of inazuma arc) was rushed. I was confused how people thought the first part dragged on for so long and that it was the "bad" part of the inazuma quest and the latter half was the good part (because according to them, it was faster and action-heavy). but hell no, first part was amazing exposition and build up; second part was amazing but veeeerry rushed. most of the plot points that were missing were covered outside of archon quest territory (kazuha SQ, kokomi SQ, ayato demo, raiden 2nd SQ, optional: irodori fest/2.8GAA). now it sounds about right since we now have access to the information to know what happened during then but at the time of finishing it i had so much questions - they only answered it months after... i guess the internal scuffle that time really did them bad and not having ayato model prepared yet hindered showing him as the main reason how the resistance came into tenshukaku 😅

Not done with the video yet but thinking about you talking about how Teppei's death didn't hold a lot of impact.... So yeah, we get to Makoto and then Halfdan and both of their stories are _much_ more impactful to us the player than Teppei ever was and neither of them was actually in the story any more than Teppei. The difference, I think, is that we see how their fate impacts characters we care about and we actually see what happens to them on-screen instead of just "hey yeah so they died while you weren't looking, NOW FEEL BAD ABOUT IT". Anyway my point is that if they could do it with these other characters it's kinda sad they couldn't do it with a character that was supposed to mean so much to the Traveler that they barge off to take on a Fatui stronghold alone.

And finally got to finish so just to add about the "memory" at the end there. If you think back to Ei's second story quest, we meet several "memories" of people from the past that were leaking out from the roots of the Sacred Sakura/leylines. We could interact with those people in the present and they were aware of us as if we occupied the same moment in time as them. If they were simple "memories" of something that had happened they would have just replayed a static event and not been aware. So I think it's really that leyline "memories" are more complicated than just being static retellings of something that already happened and your "living as our sibling" interpretation is closer to what actually happened.
