Great build and return to water cooling :) . It was videos by JayzTwoCents and yourself (I think it was your Phobya product reviews I found first) that helped me get into PC water cooling years ago! Soft tubing can still look very nice and this helps demonstrate that ;) . I felt that moment when the acrylic snapped as I’ve done it myself and its always disheartening when it happens at the end of a project day. Your reaction was pretty much the same as mine and anyone who suffers a drilling mishap :D . I’m not sure if its part of the Orchid theme but the blue and purple lighting choice at 16:16 looked really good. Keep up the great work and I look forward to seeing your upcoming water cooling content!

what I would do for runs like the GPU to CPU and 360 rad to reservoir is use a similar looking hard line tube not only to make the run look cleaner but also to help straighten up reservoir sag. And one more thing, it's not a sexism thing I promise hard line tubing is not that hard but it is scary to do and more expensive cause you need a heat gun.

Hard tubing can suck it!! I love my soft tubes where I can just pull off the CPU block and swap it without disconnecting or draining anything. Protip for applying vinyl stickers, mist the area with slightly soapy water first, then stick the vinyl and use a little roller to squeeze out all the remaining water. It gets rid of any air bubbles super easily.

It was watching Lauren's water cooled build in a Corsair 900D 6 years ago, that inspired me to build my own water cooled PC, Current rig is, AMD 3960X Threadripper 24 Core CPU, 64GB 3600 MHz ram, 2080TI, 1GB SSD (Boot) 2x2gGB SSD (scratch disks) 4x 12GB HDD in raid 10, (Storage) all watercooled of course. @@johnbancroft5242 Damn, that's some nice gear! Yea, I started getting into custom PCs and watercooling around the same time, currently have a 3600 and a 1080ti in a custom loop. I wasn't planning on putting the 1080ti into the loop, but then one of the fans went crazy, running at 100% all the time, and it was just cheaper to buy a waterblock and add it to the loop instead of trying to find another fan, or get it repaired. At least that's what I told myself anyway..

About copper tubing i have some advice , i builted 4 full Loop made of Copper , the same copper tube thats used for hydraulic thing (12mm outside 10mm inside) , 1st of all , the raw copper tube react very fast to Air , Water and even the skin of ur hand , so basicaly u can proceed in 2 different way : 1) u can instantly paint with a protective /trasparent paint and then work with bending and cut , or 2) use a copper paint to cover the oxydation and scratches after the bending/cut , but after years of custom loop i have to advise u that use copper tube( especially raw copper) could be painfull , its the hardest way , but imho the result could be stunning.( P.S. bending copper its the hardest part because u can easly ovalize the curve , an easy tips for beginner is to use only straight tube of copper and use angled fittings to complete the loop). by the way for me its a good first waterccoled mod u done , keep going Queen .

Great video! Build looks great! Glad you had no leaks when you filled the loop. It was a good idea to tell people that the motherboard was powered down while filling because that is very important. A drain valve might be handy on your next loop. It might be an idea to use some of the scrap plastic you have to make a prop to go under the pump bracket to take some of the weight and stop it sagging. I've used hard tube in my loop and yeah it's a bit harder to use but if you take your time it's fine. I have no issue with soft tube loops if it's easy for you , besides you've done a great job making it look as neat as you did. Glad you left the cursing in because we've all been there. Good thing your hand was clear of the drill bit , cos that can be nasty ..ask me how I know.. Good luck with the build and keep an eye on that GPU loop manifold connection just in case you get a leak starting there.

That B-roll looks SO GOOD. Awesome job! An idea for the pump sag (besides Corsair fixing it themselves like they should) is to use the acrylic to build a piece for the pump to sit on. Since it's already bolted in place it wouldn't need to take on that much weight so the acrylic should hold and look cleaner than the eraser.
