I go to Pollinis quite a lot. The pizza slices are extremely big and are priced about £3-4. Realistically you only need 1-2 slices, and I believe they do offers when you multibuy. Part of the reason I go there is bcos it's very good value, it is not expensive. They have lots of different customers and are very popular with Leeds' student community. One of the workers there (the guy from Halifax) is very down to Earth and friendly. I cannot fault these guys at all. Food is good quality and good value, and the staff are extremely helpful and courteous. They have been recommended to Danny for a reason ;-). PS - I think if you visit late in the day Pizza slices are often significantly reduced to clear any left over stock.

Chicken Tika is not meant to be Red as you are saying it should be. Chicken Tika is meant to have a yellowish tint to it from the yogurt and garam masala marinade.No red whatsoever.

I was there at same time , looked at those pizzas , i was tempted , i never saw u likebut i was in market for a good hour this afternoon, got lobster tail , load of cheeses , lively streaky bacon , ital grub , cakes , bags of different aniseed sweets cough candy cakes from town etc .food galore even stuff from health food store on vicar lane , i was lucky to get lambs liver , sage sausages no ox liver at all i was disappointed wen i got to ox liver

Pizza looks nice but dam expensive, went to get some myself and walked away once I heard price. There is a pizza place near me that does really nice pizza, for what they this place charges for 3/4 slices I can get a whole 12 inch pizza from the place near me. I won't buy really overpriced stuff out of principle.

There were no heat bubbles (where the crust pops up and bubbles up, both the ends and under the cheese can have these) or leopard spots (the char, black spots on the bottom of the crust). But that also doesn't mean the pizza is bad. It certainly had some char on the ends and the ingredients were probably quite good. But as a New Yorker who's eaten pizza there and New Haven Connecticut and in Chicago and especially in Italy, there are certain things you look for in pizza.

Love Leeds Kirkgate market. It's the best place for shopping and food. You can literally buy every vegetable or fruit known to the world here - whether it's Mooli, Okra, Yam - you name it, they've got it all. Great place for lunch too. And there's a stall called Dale's, selling poultry, he's a legend and the chicken is perfectly fresh and so well priced. You can get 10 chicken legs for £7 and they're really big.

I don't like how he reheats the Pizza. If you get 'Pizza Taglio' in Italy which is the same thing but instead of slicing up round Pizzas they do large rectangular pizzas and cut a rectangle off - 'taglio' means a 'tile'. They only tend to cook 3 types of Pizza - usually a Margherita, a a Pepperoni and a Ham/Mushroom - and they have enough custom that they don't need to re-heat so you eat fairly fresh. I suppose they aren't busy enough to do this here
