I've had plenty of good nights out in Cambridge. Vinyl is a decent night club, they play 80s, 90s and naughties. Spoons is also ok on a Friday and Saturday night as they have live music (unless that's changed). I live in Cambridge but I am far from posh 🤣 only went punting for the first time back in August for my dad's birthday. I've just turned 30 and Cambridge is ok, but gets a bit boring. I'm originally from St Ives near huntingdon, Cambridgeshire. St Ives is a historic town (famous nursery rhyme "As I was going to St. Ives, I met a man with seven wives.", loads of people go there for some reason.. It's not remotely exciting but it's also the birthplace of Oliver Cromwell 🤷🏼‍♀️😂

Ed, you are the type of (very handsome looking) man that you could go anywhere and easily fit in - but it is a shame that all of the family owned and run B&B’s are all closing down and are being replaced by chain hotels - when I last visited my family in Ireland in October 2022, since 23 years living in the U.K. the number of B&B’s that has went out of business in my home County in Ireland was truly shocking and they were all replaced by chain hotels in Dublin, which I found very strange indeed

i grew up in cambs its weird to see it on youtube lol. im not someone who goes clubbing but ive definitely heard from people that it really isn't the best place. though for shopping, places to eat and just nice spaces to hang out in id say its pretty good also i cant believe how far out you guys stayed at least in cambridge terms - you shouldve hired bikes for the authentic experience!
