I have the same issue on the steering randomly stopping. The remote comes unscrewed relatively easily sometimes. I replaced the screws with the next size up to keep it snug longer. Sometimes I'll open the remote and adjust the batteries back into place and it doesn't happen anymore. Or like you did I turn it off and on. Sometimes there's just a bad connection for whatever reason at start up. The function that seems to struggle the most is when in cruise control. On the lake the other day I was trolling for crappie heading for shore and it just refused to turn lol. It caught connection with about 50 feet to spare before it would've been me smashing into shore lol.

@@tylerwachter6381 ya, that line guide becomes a PITA when you have to plug cast or bait cast. You can even pinch your thumb if you forget that you're using a reel with a line guide.

Hahaha giving poor Daniel hell ... hehehe but I know it's all in fun...we are huge fans my wife Sarah said she would love to go fishing just once with you ...we live in south west part of Missouri near 4 huge lakes ...Table Rock and Bull shoals, also near the Osage arm and Truman Lake reservoir also we live near Lake of the Ozarks and Stockton like...also Warsaw so plenty of places to go fishing..but we are to old to fish in a kayak... How would we catch big fish especially big catfish from the bank what kind of structure should I look for what kind of bait should I use for bank fishing? My brother told me to use the liver in a pantyhose... hahaha ... We would love your suggestions but we are planning on getting either a pontoon boat or a fishing boat this year.. first we have to get our well septic electric and our home build or a RV trailer first ...after that we need a boat because our new property is a 12 acre alfalfa field... Only 5 minutes from Stockton Lake Dam... So we definitely will do a lot of fishing there it has catfish massive amounts of crappie huge bluegill and sunfish but it's really known for walleye and Pike.... It is also the sailboat capital of Missouri top 10 in the United States.. but we would appreciate any advice for a couple old people who want to fish and catch them big before we're too old to reel them in! Hehehe
