We love our Roomba!! Our golden retriever sheds sooooo much, and we used to have to vacuum everyday. Now we vacuum maybe twice a month, and the Roomba maintains the house for us!! :) YAY for no more tumbleweeds made of doggie hair!

Neato botvac is the best brand! It maps the room with a laser, then goes around the perimeter before filling in the rest with straight lines. And it won't go to another room until it's finished one room first.

I love my Roomba. Although I do find that it is beneficial for upkeep after a thou rough self vacuuming rather than relying on it alone. Or try sweeping everything first then leaving the house for errands while it is going so that it can have a few go arounds.

I have a Neato 'robot' vacuum..it goes in lines and picks up everything! I recommend trying that brand. It is able to be scheduled, controlled from your phone, and memorizes the rooms of your house to clean in organized lines :) Look into it!!

just bought a roomba because it was on clearance and i have a cat and dont have the time to vacuum everyday. I think it works great. if there is a certain area you want it to clean you have to his spot clean and it makes it go in a circular motion to get everything.

I have one of those iRobots and I honestly hate it because it takes ages and sometimes gets stuck in cables under the bed or under the desks, it's honestly just nice to have for breadcrumbs or so... therwise I'd much rather just vacuum the 10 minutes it usually takes. The ice cream Museum looks so grand, I really wish I could go though! They should have one in Europe too

the iRobot is really cool, my family has it and it does work. just be careful though because ours worked perfectly for a while, then it didn't work as well...it seemed like it "forgot" where to go, and would stay in one room the whole time and skip the rest of the house. i don't know why it did that but it's annoying because we have to pick it up and move it to the other side of the house so it would get everything. the museum of ice cream looked so cool btw!
