Your trip to the United Nations brought back memories to me of the first time I also visited the U.N. I grew up in New York City and my junior high school class was given the opportunity to visit the U.N. I will never forget that trip by subway to the U.N. and, I think, that as a result of my first visit there I became really interested in international relations. Many years later I attended Columbia University's School of Internatinal Affairs and their Russian Institute. That resulted in a teaching job in Russia and marriage to a Russian woman who was studying English. Small events can make all the difference in one's future life.

Yes, all power plants must be near plentiful of water. Although I've never been there to verify it, I strongly suspected that it was an electricity-generating fossil-fuel power plant. There are those orange-and-white chimneys. They are for visibility to prevent Donald Trump's helicopter 🚁 from crashing into the power plant to make America great again. I saw the orange-and-white contrasting-color checkerboard pattern on the Kai-Tak Airport landing approach radar on the little hill not far from the airport. It was like a near- *suicide* dive towards that hill required of *every* aircraft landing there.

I’m from New Jersey and if I’ve seen that plant once in my life, I’ve probably seen it 1,000 times while traveling along the FDR Drive/East River. Never even realized it was a Con Ed plant 😀 LOL

I’m a huge fan of Dari, but I’m not a huge fan of the United Nations. The UN regularly hosts gatherings such as this for millionaire diplomats and their guests to talk and mingle over wine and cheese and give speeches about protecting women’s and human rights. Yet, it allows some of the worst offenders of human rights like China and Cuba to sit on the UN Human Rights Council. There are many more reasons I could give, but this is just one example.

You are a lucky girl, most women do not get to have the extraordinary experiences you have had in your life. You speak of experiencing very low points and very high points in your life. You are experiencing adulthood. Without your family nearby with whom to vent , you feel alone and need to process things on your own ,then gather yourself and carry on,because you must. In the future you will reflect on your time in New York ,and be proud that you made friends, travelled on short holidays, saw new cities, & states, and even visited Columbia. Once you have graduated you will have a greater chance of possible jobs & world travel experiences will open to you. Dasha as you age you’ll realize that this was a pivotal time in your life, so appreciate even the tough experiences & grab every chance for personal growth! ❤️👍👍

Dari visited Colombia, the country. She may not have visited Columbia, the University on Morningside Height, on the upper west side of Manhattan. I think that the melting of the weight of the glacier down the Hudson River Valley caused the uplifting cracking the upper west side of Manhattan to form several faults there and in particular, the precipice of Morningside Height.

Talk to Actionkid aka Kenneth as he used to live in Queens. Astoria to be precise. He does those walking videos. I think he’s in Vietnam right now though. But whatever. Yeah if you need help he’s the guy. He knows New York City like nobody’s business. You could also try walks and Wall Street or new York life vlog. They all live in the city and can help you. I know New York life vlog usually is in Times Square. Just look for a Philippine looking guy that is thin with one of the Dji tripod things that he carries around with a mounted phone. He’s usually around the Disney store area on a bench or the concrete barriers just taking in the scenery. He’s doing pretty much nightly live streams.

I was on here in 27 sec. after you posted! I have never been on a video so fast! Had to take a short break to finish. In any case, things happen. You can't do anything about them. Just try to go on and do the best with what you have to do. I do know this about Russian men though. They drink way too much, they smoke too much, and they have bad diets. I also don't believe they are health minded and go to gymsor exercise. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), the average life expectancy for Russian women is 78 years, while the average for Russian men is 68.2 years. This gives Russia a 96th place ranking for life expectancy. Sometimes facts help. All the best and good luck with your competition.

What Dari does not realize is she started her vlog at two places made famous by movies: (1) The Roosevelt Tram made famous by Sylvester Stallone's movie 1981 Nighthawks and (2) the Consolidated Edison power plant made famous by Julia Roberts/Mel Gibson’s 1991 Conspiracy Theory. What an amazing event by the (UN) United Nations, gathering woman from different countries and cultures together to discuss woman’s rights. Also, I want to thank you, Svetlana, Natashia (Agent Nesty), and others for taking the time and effort to vote in your country’s election. I know, someday, change will happen. "Do not give Up" - Navalny. Sad that embassy was closed for Natasha in Georgia! I know it can be kind of difficult, being far and away when tragedies strike. Especially when you are focused on your life’s work and career path! The best thing you can do is offer up your thoughts and prayers (Ts&Ps)! There will be plenty of time for hugs and tears when you go back and visit! I’m sorry for her loss. Ts&Ps go out to her and her family! Hey, congratulations on making the top 5. You did it. Your hard work has paid off. Stay focused, stay on target, and keep to the plan (White board time)! Remember, you have made it further than many others! I hope that you stay safe if you return to Moscow for a few weeks soon. This is because Russian Boeing and Airbus airliners are not getting preventative maintenance due to sanctions and so have had more accidents recently. I would prefer Turkish airlines if it was not for a story about them badly treating a Russian passenger that I read recently. What happened was that they cancelled a Russian's flight to Argentina because of sanctions and then refused to return to the Russian the money that they had paid for their flight to Argentina. Perhaps it would be safest to take a plane to somewhere like Kazakhstan and then take a train from there to Moscow?

The United States talks and talks and argues and spends billions. Very little can be proven to be improved after their conferences. And you didn't even get a chair. Typical UN incompetancy. And they refuse to condemn Islamic nations for their terrible, abusive treatment of women. Saudi and UAE money flows in...nothing improves for their women ever. UN officials take the Arab money and run and nothing is actually better. That is why so many US womens rights organization will have nothing to do with UN projects. I wish you had been warned that it's just a show.
