well they have always been moneyhungry, and they won't stop. You can either be ok with it and continue supporting them, or quit the game, or just get a pirated version of the game, but crying about it won't be of any use. They'll likely continue doing this because they get millions of dollars from it, and people continue playing their game lol

When most people stop spending money and a fair share of people uninstalling the game (me included) and they don’t listen, it’s frustrating. In conjunction with this, from their revenue it’s actually working out for them which is quite depressing knowing that if we boycott - nothing will happen and nothing will make them change.

Despite losing a portion of their player-base, they are still successful. Calling them ignorant would imply they are unaware of their actions, but in reality, they are fully aware. They are capitalizing on a declining game, one that has surpassed its prime, in order to extract more spending from its players.
