Best video ever. I've run many marathons and my attitude is always "meh, not a big deal...", but you totally exposed the beauty in oneself, the process, your vulnerabilities, the humanity, the relationships with others, etc. Life can be so much deeper than the cynic view we often fall into. Just a masterpiece of storytelling and editing! Thank you~

I have been a runner my whole like and still am going at 71 years old. I'm much slower now and my marathon days are over and I'm just hoping I can keep going for at least a couple more years. I know what you mean about support, my family being at the finish line was the best of it all. Last year my daughter drove with my 2 young grandkids to the top of Pikes Peak (14,110' in Colorado) to watch me finish my 10th run up the mountain, not to mention the times she was at the finish when I completed the whole marathon years earlier. Her and my wife and son have also been there for the great races and also for the ones that didn't go so well. All that being said, CONGRATULATIONS!! Your finish also brought years to my eyes.

Your weaknesses and emotional expressions during the marathon reveal the depth of your passion and the hard work you put into achieving your goals. Words cannot express how much I admire you. You taught us that it is important to never give up and keep moving forward even when we are exhausted and lost. Your dedication to personal growth and the example you set for others is truly admirable. Your journey reminds me of my own difficulties and how I overcame them, and it touches me deeply. Incredible video. There’s a reason why it’s so common for runners to cry when finishing a marathon. Their whole sense of self gets completely reinvented, and their own perceived barriers and limitations become shattered. I’ve run several marathons, and even an ultramarathon, and every time it is such an emotional experience that simultaneously breaks me down and builds me up in a way that no other experience in life has ever done for me. Thanks for sharing your experience.

Nathaniel you are a true inspiration. I’m sitting here bawling my eyes out not because it’s sad but because you can see the various stages of change you went through to achieve your goal and cross that finish line. Absolutely incredible! What a joy it was to stumble across this video. I'm doing the Tour du Mont Blanc in 3 months, completely camping, and all on my own. And my emotions surrounding this decision very much resonate with your decision to take on this beast of a marathon. A lot of nervousness but a deep confidence that I can do it, and smash all the boxes that try to tell me I'm not bigger than what I believe I am capable of. In the intro when you said "it's not about waiting for superheroes, but throwing yourself into battle" that hit me so hard. This video felt like a sign and an encouragement that I can do it. So thank you nathaniel for such a beautiful video. And you should be so damn proud of yourself for letting yourself live life to the damn fullest.

The scenes at the finish hit hard - I had tears in my eyes as well when I realised I just freaking did it. The months of sacrifice, both from myself and my loved ones, through the cold and dark of winter training… It all culminated in a phenomenal race, which although hard felt great. I felt supported, prepared and ready to take on the big goal. Awesome job man, really happy for you! Don’t be too hard on yourself, try to enjoy both the achievement and the process. My portfolio recently reached 6-figures, and here's what I have to say about it. It is important to carefully analyze your options and keep an eye on the economy when investing during inflation. Make sure your portfolio consistently reflects your risk tolerance and financial objectives by reviewing and rebalancing it. A financial advisor can offer tailored advice based on your unique situation and assist you in navigating the challenges of investing during inflationary periods.
@leonardo54465 Жыл бұрын
The benefits of working with a financial advisor could last a lifetime. While others were whining about inflation, I was busy cashing out from my Diversified-portfolio, ultimately making over 370k for the first quarter of the year. I'm so glad I was able to get in touch with my coach, Joseph Sullivan Anderson, early this year. We have received help from Joseph Sullivan Anderson in achieving debt freedom and retirement savings.
@FlorianWerfel324 Жыл бұрын
I've been considering seeking advice from advisors. Because I want to retire early and become more financially literate, I need advice, but I'm curious how effective their services will actually be.
@leonardo54465 Жыл бұрын
My Advisor would say to me that saving nothing is unwise, and that saving every penny that isn't already dedicated to paying bills or buying groceries is unrealistic if you want to retire early, you must have a well-diversified investment portfolio.
@leonardo54465 Жыл бұрын
My advisor, Joseph Sullivan Anderson, is a portfolio diversity expert with extensive knowledge. It's been a pleasure working with him, and he's been extremely helpful in reorganizing my entire portfolio. I recommend doing more research on his credentials. Wow, I am completely amazed by the quality of this video and your story telling. You had me tearing up. A big bravo to you, you ran your first marathon and under 4 hours, this is amazing, you can be proud of yourself!! I think part of the emotions I felt while watching you in this video came from the fact that it resonated. I trained for 2 months to run my first half-marathon in March. I also had an injury during the training, with growing motivation issues while getting closer to it, resulting in me never running more than 12km before the actual half-marathon. I wanted to finish it in 2h15, and failed. I finished the 21km, for that I am proud, but I was really not expecting this to be such a traumatic experience. I know tit was all psychological, as I felt okay physically, but I struggled so much during the whole second loop. From 11km, I started walking every now and then, and ended up walking entirely the last 3km except for the last 200m. It took me 2h42 to cross the finish line, it was early March, and since then I haven’t found the courage to go running again. Congratulations once again, you did an amazing job both running this marathon and showing it to us!

I love the craftsmanship in your videos. The way you've weaved in the storyline with the theme to then hit us with the ending line. Honestly, it's such a good line and the set up just made it even better. I've always loved your videos, but this might be my favorite one so far ❤

So glad I'm came across this video. I'm signed up for my first marathon in September and been training since May. Just like you I struggled through it with injuries and self-doubt. When you started talking about "the shits", it felt too real. I was diagnosed with IBS and anxiety at a young age and it was a silent tormentor. People would laugh and joke about it, but deep down no one really knew how much it hurt. I lost many things in my life because I let it control me. Doing this marathon is an ode to not letting yourself become overtaken by your emotions. Once I cross that finish line (no matter the time I get), I will look deep within myself and see that young boy who thought he was a loser and crush that memory once and for all.

I am normally not into running at all, but the way you told this story was so beautiful. Maybe it's that I'm a new mom so a new layer of emotions has been uncovered in my soul, but when your brother text you and your family celebrated you there I totally lost it! Congratulations on reaching your goal with 16 seconds to spare. What a beautiful accomplishment!

Amazing story and such an amazing achievement. I found myself cheering you on during the video! Thank you for sharing this journey. I never considered taking up a long-distance type of running to help with anxiety but now you have me curious.

Man this really made me tear up. As always your videos are masterfully edited, but this one in particular really hit home. I've contemplated for years about wanting to run, but I've always found an excuse. It's completely free, you can do it anywhere at any time, and you don't need anyone's help to do so. I think this week is the week to really start! Side note the look you gave your mom, man, do I wish I could see my mom's face again after achieving something great again. I'm glad you got to experience that and I hope you cherish it for the rest of your life my friend!
