I knew about this video and been watching this before Kobe died. It is more powerful now.

Best damn video that sums up Kobe for me. There was something so uplifting about you. You made people want to be the best version of themselves. To me, that's the definition of greatness. You truly made your mark in this world Kobe, you made it a better place and you will be truly missed. Your inspiration will live on. Rest in peace..

This story is an old favorite of mine. When learning of his death I thought a lot about this and how the meaning has changed.

I connect with every small part of this video....been in a rut for way too long this was amazing man I can always count on you for quality content .. I’m all for outworking people...I’m naturally competitive and I always liked that about me although from past 2-3 years it’s not same anyways I hope I’m getting back there soon!! :)

My life is only improvement, I train till I can’t train anymore, and then do it again the next day. Everyday pushing myself past my limit. I can’t do anymore pushups? Do 10 more. Can’t do anymore Squats? Do 100 more. Can’t do anymore crunches? Just DO MORE. My mind nags at me everyday, “you could’ve done more, you could be doin more right now.” And it keeps me going, it’s almost like an out of body experience. My Fire keeps at me, if I get to comfortable while running, it’ll turn up the heat and get me going. The thoughts pop into my head “Go faster, go faster, go faster, faster, faster, faster faster faster faster faster faster.” Until I stomp. I Collapse. And I Smile, and say “Thank you”.
