Keep in mind...the word says when you Mother and Father forsake you then the Lord will take you up. I was raised in church. In my earlier years I could not think of God as a Father figure because of the trauma. And I continued to secretly say Mother God. Since I learned forgiveness on a deeper level and have built relationship with BigPappaGod. I can actually finlally say Abba Father, Daddy or Pappa. And still can feel his presence as a Mother since my mother and I are not close at all. Hope that helps. Try not to kill off what it takes for some to embrace God at all. I stopped listening to secular music a long time ago, stopped listening to Christian music about 2-3 years ago because it has just as much idol images and lyrics as well. The Bible has a lot to say about what worship is. I listen sometimes to certain groups like Sehla but more hymnal type music and trust me I was a very eclectic music lover it wasn’t easy but very much profitable for my life , mind , soul and spirit. A person trying to help you understand that there are some things that you need to turn away from is the furthest thing from hate. It’s love. You correct and warn people that you love. I loved sex, but God explicity said what he said about pre maratial sex and I couldn’t continue to put my significant other and my desires before his word. Soul ties are REAL as well as dangerous. Look at Jay’s influence over Bey. She’s literally DANGEROUSLY IN LOVE, so much so that she’ll allow this man to drag her to hell. We have to be careful with who we let in. It’s real out here. Secondly, God tells us in the bible to guard our hearts because our hearts are DECEPTIVE. The spirit of deception is what makes us “feel” comfortable with sinning. What we have to take into account is that GOD SAYS in the bible that HE hates sin and He’s also clear about homosexuality being a sin and that we will not inherit the Kingdom with Him if we choose to indulge in these things (i.e.: drunkedness, unforgiveness, homosexuality, & sexual immorality). It’s one thing to sin, but when we sin we’re supposed to ask for forgiveness and turn away from it. LIVING IN sin is the issue. If we say we follow God, we have to follow HIS ways and live according to how HE says we need to. The bible says trust in the Lord and lean not on your OWN understanding. When we’re truly living for God, we have to give up our fleshly desires and follow Him. We have to love God more than we do the things of this world. Anything that we aren’t willing to give up for God is an idol in our lives. Please read these scriptures that I reference below. I hope this helps and that you receive clarity from God. Pray and ask him to uproot everything in your life that’s not of Him and He will do it. Ask for Him to give you His perspective and to renew your heart/mind.
