About 45 years ago I was going to kill myself. For a couple of months I had been severly depressed and just couldn't shake it. Everyday my mind was filled with how I would take my life. The day came when I was going to do it, I got something ready that would take my life almost instanstly and brought it over to my bed, and just as I was going to end my life I heard an audible voice coming from the direction of my celing, and he said "if you do that you will go straight to hell," I looked up at my ceiling and said "if that was you God then you can have my life, because I don't know what to do with myself," right then I knew I would never take my life, I thought "I would rather live with depression then be in hell for eternity." Two days later due to some unusual circumstances I ended up in a church where I prayed and gave my life to Jesus. Instantly the depression left me and I was suddendly so happy, happier then I had ever been in my intire life. My life was changed that day and I was never the same again.

I was an atheist for about 10 years when I started listening to Jordan Peterson's lectures about Genesis. It totally changed my perspective! I believe God had been planting seeds for years, but in those lectures, i remember my jaw dropping and walking away from them, unable to call myself an atheist.. It took a few more years for the harvest to come to full fruition. I struggled with doubt heavily for a full year after finally asking Jesus to come into my life. When i was 7 months pregnant with my 2nd child, I got Covid pneumonia and was put on a ventilator for 10 days. When I woke up, the nurse told me what my child and I survived and it how God had a purpose for our lives (as many others in my same situation in that very hospital had died) I gave my life in full gratitude and surrender to Jesus and asked him to help me be bold in faith. I thank God for allowing me to pass through the valley of the shadow of death..it was the trial my soul needed, and I LOVE Jesus and His word so much. JBP planted the seeds and God in his mercy tended the garden of my heart. ❤ Blessing to you Joe Kirby for your wonderful ministry...I was blessed my your wife's testimony too

Just be sure they’re Bible believing and on solid ground. There’s a lot of churches that also stream their Sunday morning services. I work at a church that one of their ministries is towards young mothers. It’s such a blessing. I pray you can find something like that

Hi Kirby, this hits home to me. I've lost my whole family and many friends bc I gave my life to Jesus. Everything went along fairly well till 2016 when I surrendered to preach, born again in 2014. The first to go was my wife, who oddly enough had begged me since we met in 1981, married in 1988, to go to church, to turn from my evil ways. So in 2014 I did, whole heartedly, but she left me high and dry after surrendering to preach, in 16, claiming she didn't want to be married to a preacher. Six months later, my daughter at 23yrs old and son in law, turned away from me, and I haven't heard or saw her since.. Then in 2019 my dad on his death bed said, he no longer wanted me around. Then a whole host of friends, some even church members. It was amazing to me how the devil attacked, all bc I turned to Christ, but I've never looked back. Its been over 8yrs now since my wife left, we're not divorced, I refuse to. It is lonesome at 60yrs old, but Jesus does give me peace. Though tough, I wouldn't trade His love for me, or mine for Him, regardless the pain in my heart. I continue to pray for them, except dad whose gone now, everyday, and pray that Almighty God will work in their hearts for them to reconcile and come back. If this was all there is in life, I would have ended it a long time ago, but I know one day, I will be in Jesus presence, and all this pain will be gone, bc of what He did for all of us, if we would just accept Him, admitting we're all sinners in desperate need of the One and only Saviour, Jesus Christ. Since becoming a true born again Christian, I've heard many similiar stories, from many ppl. satan cannot stand for one to leave his flock, he will do anything and everything to try and get you back. If you claim to be Christian, and satan never rears his ugly head towards you, you may need to do a sincere heart check, it just might be, your being decieved. I'm not saying all this will happen to anyone, and I pray it doesn't, but satan will attack you one way or other. Jesus tells us this in His word. Just look at what Jesus disciples had to endure after being born again, and many many followers went thru many hardships, many to the death. And many today around the world are brutalized or killed, just bc they gave their lives to Jesus. So don't fear man that can brutalize or kill the body, fear Almighty God, who can kill both body and soul, in hell, if you refuse His Son Jesus Christ. Dont put being born again off, today is the day of salvation, tomorrow may be to late. God bless you all...He loves you, and wants you to be saved and in heaven with Him. Jesus is our only Hope. 🙏 ✝️ 🇮🇱 🎺
