MEN abandon their children, and you think that's fine. Sickening double standards.

@@invisible123-l9d They said parents not mother so no it's not a double standard. Also it isn't okay for any parent to walk out on their kids period. It's sad that you can't see that.

I'm a mom as well and not just any mom but a single mom to 3 beautiful amazing kids. And seeing that mom abandoning all 3 of them sickens me my kids ALWAYS kept me grounded and I'm glad they did I wouldn't change it for all the money or men in this world in fact when it came to relationships I ALWAYS kept it separately from my kids for a variety of reasons but I also told the guy in advance "its either all of them or not at all there's no picking and choosing the 4 of us come as a family" I'm proud to say in the 22yrs I've had my oldest son he's only seen me with 2 guys my second son who just turned 18 last month and my daughter is turning 17 in 2mths they've only seen me with 1. There happiness, safety and well-being and opinions always meant everything to me

appreciate the clean language in telling your story - Once the children were emotionally stable and able to understand give them a choice if they want to see there mom again. Everyone makes mistakes and deserve a chance to at least build a relationship if mutually agreed. But maybe supervised for a while.

Our mum did abandon us with our grandmother for around 5 monthes, for our abusive stepfather. She got us back sure, but we were pretty damaged over the years, I’m still undergoing regular therapy & have so many conditions from trauma etc it’s ridiculous. I love my mum, but it’s one of those things I cannot forgive her for. You can love & still hold a grudge. Though it seriously complicates matters. In all honesty, she never should have been freely taken us back, with our grandparents we were stable, even with grandpa being recently released from prison at the time. I helped a lot with grandma when it came to my sister. But, we had stability, felt safe, well kept & aside of the critters skulking around the farm causing a bit of unease we were content. Before anyone speculates & theorizes half hearted perception tons. Our grandmother was like most but being country, she was equally strict when neccesary, we didn’t get cookies for doing wrong etc she took her responsibilities seriously. The only real time was during that period that she was more a proper mum than a grandma lol. She’s gone now, I have many regrets, love & miss her. Parents that abandon their kids should NEVER be permitted any parental leniency, reacquaintedness etc. if being a parent is so bloody hard that they feel attempt to ditch their kids, especially for sex. Then close your legs, zip up your fly, get fixed etc cause hunny you’re not worthy of fertility. I had to grow up fast, kindergarten when it came to adult responsibilities… the abandonment was in between 5-6th grade. (Part of late 5th into early 6th). I remember grandma asking us or at least me if I would dislike her taking custody of us… before anyone asks how I knew at that age what custody was… our parents split up in the early 90’s while I was or about to attend kindergarten… for years dad had tried to sway on child support… always lost but never paid a dime. Custody was a word brought up so often, it became a staple conversation…. So obviously a requisite mind asks.., is sometimes told but often advised to “look it up” with the dictionary always on the shelf, for such times. My reading was much higher than my educational grade in most respects. If anything, I think those that abandon their kids should face a minimal of a decade & be forced to pay 3X the maximum child support payments to the custodial provider. It’s one thing to be responsible & sign over your rights to an appropriate party… it’s another to just up & abandon your kids like a cowardly wayward teenager. Children need stability far more then a birth giver of soerm donor “needs” their parental rights, abandonment, is a foolish, disrespectful, abusive & beyond a doubt an automatic declaration of forfeit of parental rights, which should be harshly held true be legal recognition.

OP..Your Mom was trifling and flawed!! This is too scary. Just walks away from responsibility!! She's got a job she needs to go to. You're surprised you got fired?? Nope she never gets back into those kids lives!!

Children need stability, especially very young children. They're already asking when their mom is going to come back and if she keeps coming and leaving, they may be confused and upset. Maybe when they are older, and can understand better, then she can reconnect.

😮 this is totally toxicity and what she deserves is the justified karma. Taking care of her siblings isn't her job but what she's doing is the best decision for them she's definitely a good sister

The daughter was way to nice to a witch who brought two wonderful boys into this world and bailed out of their lives and gave them to the daughter, now abandoned, to raise. That witch turned into a tornado tearing up the lives around her.

Seriously, that mother is very neglectful and always wanted to dump the children on to someone else and make it their responsibility just because she wanted to do something else in life.

ALL the bills were paid !!!???!!! I was worried about them being evicted !!!! Her being fired too ????!!!!! Glad she was able to get through all of it . Did her dad give her any money or did he have that much money to give ???!!!! No, I think 🤔 when she read the texts on her mother's burner phone that sealed the deal on Not forgiving and Not reconciling with her !!!!!

At one point in the video, the mom wanted visitation rights, much like what often happens when there are children involved in divorce cases. I don't want to sound like I condone abandonment but I fully agree with the idea of visitation rights both here and in divorce cases.

Well, it is Sarah choice, but you have to start to understand, People are not perfect, they just aren’t! What her mother did was wrong. But try to forgive, the mother , try to heal the pain.
