Omg you took me so far back. I bought that same car brand new when I went to college. The same year, trim level, and color (interior and exterior). If I would have known that she’d still be running I would have saved her for my son that’s now bugging me to buy him a Charger. And he’s so excited and telling everyone about his new Charger that his mom is buying him for Xmas . He has posters all over his bedroom wall. He even said mom, you don’t have to buy me a hellcat. A regular charger will be fine because I know they are expensive. How thoughtful of my beautiful son. I can’t wait for him to see his brand new charger for Christmas. He’ll be able to plug it in and charge his phone so quick.

Maybe another KZbinr wants to take on fixing the A-pillar and roof. It seems a shame this car will be scrapped. It seems like a near impossible job, but you never know what people can do. Fix that and the front fender and it would be a good car. It will never be perfect again, but it deserves to be back on the road given how well it runs and drives and the A/C even works. It's cars like this that gave Honda its reputation.

These late 80s Hondas are absolutely indestructible. I drove an 89 Civic throughout high school and college to 420,000 (original engine/tranny, 50+ mpg), AND it was still running fine when I sold it. Honda just doesn't make cars like they used to.

Most of them don’t have ac. Parts are hard to come by at the moment as well because the junk yards don’t have these cars in stock.
