Hey Randy, the clutch master is fed from the brake reservoir and is inside at the pedal. The clutch slave is in the bellhousing. When the fluid level drops it effectively locks out the clutch so you can't easily drive it with little/no brake fluid. Topping up the brake fluid should sort it. Also, if it has the Tremec box, then Summit might do a remote bleeder for it... Certainly there's one available for the GTO/Monaro and G8 GT... 🤔

I gotta be honest there are just straight three things that has impressed me on youtube for these past several months, 1) Adventures with purpose on youtube and their work to help families, 2) my dude Randy with all excellent content especially this mustang gtrs50 baby and 3) goonzquad and their work on their classic camaro LT4 swap. Randy, you stole this thing cheaper than toyota and kia for sure but equally reliable 5.0 coyote and unique prototype build, I would keep this sell the green one you have and make the changes with the seats, ride height, correct all the exterior issues, take care of the manual trans issues and there 100%, you WOULD have a unique rare mustang and prefer it than shelbys or anything!!! Please keep this Randy and give it some love and TLC that it desperately needs, now i wish after you Hoovies garage would buy it from you to continue on being on youtube and bring all people's attention back to this beast. Stay safe and God bless!!

What a Bad Ass Ride! Love it! If you are going to keep it I would take that splitter off to avoid any more damage to it, and raise the front end up a little. You should be able to find someone who can repair that splitter. I like your idea of getting some OEM seats. Definitely bleed that clutch.

You’re really lucky Randy! For have a 1 of when I say this back in 2010 I was blown how good it looks and then it went ghost, and know here it is, crazy I hope you never sell this car and I love how it looks, congrats Randy!

All things considered this thing being 12 years old is in really good shape. It sucks that the previous owners didn’t take super good care of it, but not bad at all.

There is one guarantee in life and that is that no one is going to pull up beside you at a stop light, roll down their window and say, You have one too. Fantastic purchase and at an astoundingly low price. Any plans to add the red stripes and the Race Skins logo to the windshield. Wonderful video and thank you for taking us along.

That's a very smart machine Randy, what a fantastic addition to the channel and as always a brilliant video. Personally I would not be to worried that that bit of carbon fiber has faded a little, adds to the charm of the car. I will look forward to the clutch bleed video and the next walk around love those.

Love the car, I'm kind of sad previous owner didn't take super good care of it cosmetic wise, and yes, those seats are an issue, no airbags, no good. I say keep it, don't sell it, remember, it's a special car. Thanks for the content, Randy.

Man Randy she’s beautiful! Too bad you can’t get it in the shop! 11 years old and still looks incredible! Definitely one i hope you keep for awhile! With the steeda suspension all around she handled i bet better than stock!! But i could tell the rearend was moving around a bit! You stole this mustang! Would love to have it!! Blow off valve is insane the exhaust is perfect!
@PileOfEmptyTapes2 жыл бұрын
The clutch problem sounds like bad seals in the master cylinder to me, but you'd have to bleed it anyway, so that custom bleed tool would not go to waste in any case. Next thing I'd do is finding a way to get the car into the shop undamaged, so you can work on it properly. Nice score for sure.

What a steal! The only thing that can probably come close to it would probably be a used Hellcat but that's still twice as much as what you bought this for, and this also came with an incredible story! Please keep this one, you'll never see another one like it because it was a prototype. And you'll have a his and her Mustang since you have the green one.

Unfortunately a lot of those famous cars that have went to shows such as sema are always forgotten about after a decade or so they usually find their way sometimes to like Mecum where at least they can build up the car and give the history in print to help get the maximum amount out of the vehicle in the future if you plan on flipping this mustang that might be the route to go It was a great find on your part and I don't see you losing money on this one
@michaelsimolke56972 жыл бұрын
I'd say get ahold of raceskinz and collaborate with them to bring it back as it was when it was done for Sema and then take it to shows and show it. Believe it is one that you should definitely keep

Hey Randy, I happen to own the very first S197 Mustang that got a Vortech H.O. Supercharger on it. The work was done at Vortech and the car was also featured in a magazine. Being a 2005 it has the 4.6 3V, but it also has full suspension upgrades, and now brake upgrades. Way cool to see the Gen 2 S197 first run of the Pro Charger!! Neat to see such prototype cars all these years later!!

Sweet car. Try backing into the shop with wood planks to lessen the angle like they do when loading race cars, like Ruby from Ole Cleeters channel, to get it into the shop and lift.
@keithneal44102 жыл бұрын
Randy, have you tried putting the Mustang on one of your tilt trailers and backing the trailer into the opening of your shop? That would take the incline out of the equation. Just a thought.

You don't need the clutch to shift , only if you start in first gear. You only need some feel while changing the gears, it is like shifting a fuller....sometimes only the snycro rings work against the shifting process, the secret: shift while no load is given, give gas in neutral while shifting back to syncronize the rpm in between the gears....
@hillaryopiyo80832 жыл бұрын

But again goodness knows if you ever get out of it anymore then you have into it? My mind says "hell ya" but we have seen in many other of your purchases that the resale value just isn't there? Enjoy though its for sure a very cool ride. Please keep us informed of the repairs and adjustments you make to her as you go along.
