I think LMBM and Umebura showed how although Miya, sonix and spargo are the best they can be defeated. Shown by skyjay, Leo and tweek. So we definitely gonna see lots of changes

Best Smash I have ever personally seen from Gavin (I wasn’t around for Brawl or 4). This gave me Terra vibes - but he finished it this time (with TWO wins over the most difficult, annoying, and mentally fatiguing player/character combo in the game). Sonix is a savage beast on the sticks. Tweek was just locked in. When he’s in THAT zone? Good luck, Player Two…. Congrats brother!

Anticlimactic but I sighed a breath of relief at the ending as I was expecting Grand Finals to go to Game 10 (we all have work in the morning!). Probably not the type of win you want, but congratulations anyhow. It was a phenomenal weekend for Tweek, between taking this incredible tournament and even Toriguri a Banjo main making it to the top 16 of Umebura SP #10 as well, meaning more ammo and confidence in Tweek's up and budding new secondary passion project. Cheers to the start of a great season!

Peanut being out there slows down the pace of your opponent and adds a layer to the mental stack. "oh s**t I caught peanut, he still has banana." It lets you alternate fast vs slow timings. Occupy or deny space. Pop someone up below ledge. Many Diddies never use neutral b. I think its under explored. Also, I saw the Banjo tech. That muscle memory of item play with grenades, burst option side b, good oos up smash punish, the ledge trap mixups. I see why Tweek enjoys this character. Wario, PT, Diddy, when Tweek picks up a character, the meta always grows by leaps and bounds. Meta innovator. So proud of our Slim Reaper defending the region against all comers.

Este torneo me recordó por que amo a smash. El Port Priority fue por lejos uno de los torneos mas aburridos que he visto. Y no es por menospreciar a Sonix, al contrario, mis mas grandes respetos por el, pero como espectador recurrente dentro de smash, me pareció bastante aburrido. Sin embargo este torneo fue de lo mas hype que he visto en mucho tiempo. Tuvo de todo, (casi) tuvimos un upset por parte de Skyjay a Sonix, vimos un Tweek vs MKleo luego de mucho tiempo, un gran upset de Maister vs Light y a Tweek ganarle dos veces a uno de los contendientes al mejor jugador del mundo usando a Diddy Kong. Felicidades a Tweek por darnos este maravilloso torneo
