Thank you so much for your help sir... I filed for SSDI and SSI in 2019 I received a fully favorable decision at 55, in 2021... I purposely picked an out of state law firm because I didn't want a bunch of face to face meetings... I met my lawyers only once and that was 15 minutes before my hearing with the ALJ... I didn't want the anxiety, so I just kept up with my doctor's appointments and let my lawyers handle my case completely... I don't know if that would work for everyone, but it worked out very well for me... Godspeed people 🙏...

I completely agree! Thank Thor!! Bless be the God of Thunder!! It looks like I just got approved as well, but since I worship Thor and Odin it proves that he is just as powerful as YOUR "God"...you're an idiot. This has NOTHING to do with what deity, deities or NO deity that you (or anything else that you "worship"), it has to do with the law, the evidence/testimony that you present at your hearing and the strength of your case, not some invisible being that lives in the sky, earth or between your ears! So what would you be saying if you were DENIED benefits?! Would you be BLAMING the same "God" because "he" hates you and wants to see you suffer?! Grow up...
@northernlitez17 жыл бұрын
sad that you are so rude and obnoxious....ask Thor to give you some manners
@paulmorris61777 жыл бұрын
@Northernlitez...well I am not going to turn this into a religious war, but just be aware that not everyone shares your religious views and don't get butt-hurt when people openly disagree with you. If you post something on an open, public forum like this (or any other forum), I (or anyone else) have every right to say what I want, even if you don't like it. This forum is for people that need help with their Social Security cases, not to hear that your invisible sky god magically helped you win your case. Now, if you have something concrete, logical and reasonable to say, that's based on facts or the law, that we (or anyone else) can use in court and can contribute to people that need REAL help winning their Social Security case, we're all ears. If you wish to quote passages from your book of magic, please go elsewhere. The ALJ is going to want to hear the FACTS of the case, not a passage from Matthew, Mark, Revelation, Genesis or Leviticus. I don't think quoting John 3:16 at someone's hearing will tip the scales in their favor....

Mr. Ginsberg, I cannot thank you enough for your videos. I had my hearing the other day and it looks like I was approved (at least that was how my attorney felt, or in his words, "I think there's a 90% chance that we won"..lol). I wanted to say THANK YOU publicly for your videos and your counsel. The simple fact that you are willing to put these videos on line for everyone to watch and learn from, shows that you genuinely care about people and are not concerned about making money off of them. For ANYONE out there reading this, that is going through the process, PAY ATTENTION TO THIS MAN! In MY hearing (I cannot speak for everyone), the ALJ asked THE EXACT SAME QUESTIONS that Mr. Ginsberg said that would be asked at a hearing and I answered them IN THE EXACT SAME WAY that Mr. Ginsberg said I should answer (even though it was the truth and I didn't lie). You are a knowledgeable, generous and caring man and I cannot say thank you enough. Keep up the good work and thank you again. I will say that if I have any issues in the future with the SSA, I will be giving you a call (I would have called you earlier, had I known about you and your videos but I had already retained my atty and we were WELL into this process).

Hey Jonathan, I've really appreciated all your videos. So I recently got, mid August 2019, tdiu w/ p&t from the VA Disability. It's paid at 100% though I'm actually at 70% w/ chronic migraines, chronic neck & back pain, & a scar. I submitted my appeal for seeing an ALJ after reconsideration denial to additionally include a printed letter/award stating my tdiu(total disability individual unemployability) w/ p&t (permanent & total). The day after my submission, it was sent to the ALJ hearing office. My details for both my SSI/SSDI says almost exactly, "Appeal under review. A medical decision has been made and we are working to process your decision. A social security representative may contact you or your appointed representative directly if we need any additional documents or information." This shows even though I've not seen a judge or even gotten a hearing date. I want to think it may have already been bench decided or something like that, without wasting time in a hearing. The ssa says they can't see in the "details" on my account. Really? What do you think sir? Has this happened with anybody else? Please let me know!! Ty

Hi Mr. Ginsberg! Thank you again for your help!!! Your videos actually helped me so much more and answered my questions - much more so than the actual lawyer I hired!! After 2.5 years of waiting for a hearing, I finally had one on October 23, 2018. It was a horrible experience and I thought I was actually on trial. Although I did get approved on December, 3, 2018, the judge did something that I thought was morally wrong for a judge and I am still thinking about filing a complaint. The judge not only blatantly lied to me, but he accused me of making up symptoms related to Multiple Sclerosis. Since many of my symptoms due to MS are "invisible", I have been accused of "lying" before and that is something that really irks me - especially since my MRI's prove it by showing lesions in my brain and spine. Due to the judge's actions, I was "thrown off" with my thinking effectively and had a lot of trouble answering questions (which I guess, was a good thing in the long run). So, after the initial preliminaries, the judge immediately accused me of being "psychosomatic" (that was the exact word that he used!). He stated that my neurologist wrote that in his notes - that my symptoms "were in my head". My lawyer asked the judge what page that statement from the neurologist was on and the judge gave him the page number. The lawyer looked on the given page and said nothing. At the time, since nothing was said from my lawyer to the judge nor to me, I assumed that my neurologist did state that he thought I was making up my MS symptoms. So I was very upset throughout the hearing that my neurologist would believe such a thing! I had a difficult time thinking, focusing and explaining anything to the judge for the remainder of the hearing. As it turns out, my neurologist never stated that I was making my symptoms up. It wasn't until the END of the horrible hearing that my lawyer told me that there was nothing on that page whereby my neurologist said such a thing (plus, I finally saw my neuro's notes - all of the notes - and he never said that I was psychosomatic!). In fact, my neurologist's notes were very favorable towards me receiving disability. The following are my 2 questions: **Question 1 - Can I still report the judge for making up the statement that my neurologist stated that I was lying about my symptoms? (What he did was very wrong. He was lying on purpose. He stated my neurologist's name, so it was not like he was accidentally reading another person's chart. If the judge was trying to catch me in a "lie", that was not the right nor moral way to do it! My MRI's, letters from co-workers, medications, other doctor letters proved otherwise. Why would a judge blatantly state that one of my neurologists state that I was making up my symptoms when I never have AND when my neurologist never ever stated such a thing?!?) What that judge did was very wrong! I understand trying to catch someone in a lie, but again, that was a wrong way to it! **Question 2 - Again I was approved on December, 3, 2018. It is now January 27, 2019. I am still NOT in the system thus still no benefits! Is that normal TODAY - to wait that long after approved??? (I have checked my file online, called the main SS number and have gone in personally to 2 separate SS offices and no one can help me! No one has an answer except that I have still not been inputted into the system. Even the disability lawyer and the paralegal are not helping me since they do not "handle" anything after the case! I have only 3 weeks of money left as I have already gone through all of my retirement money. Supposedly, according to my disability lawyer from past conversations and some of the people in SS that I spoke to, I should be receiving Medicare as of December 3, 2018 since I have been purchasing my own health insurance for over 2.5 years since I applied for disability - although some people in SS told me that I will have to continue to purchase my insurance for another 24 months. I have only received 1 letter - and that was the initial letter stating that I was approved. Since December 3, 2018 had to shell out an additional $2500 for "health insurance" that should be covered by medicare). Even though I am supposed to get back pay I have lost so much financially. I know that I am in the "home stretch", but I am running out of time financially. Thank you for your time. Going through this disability process was complete hell for me - and it seems to continue to be. - Hailey Friedman

I cant believe what im hearing" you could tell his displeasure and finally he said he had to jobs for me. Hello thank you for your videos. It is has been 3 months and I have not gotten my SSDI back pay, my lawyer was paid already. I call SSA and is getting the run around. They say they are ensuring that I do not owe any state or government agencies, and saying it's 60-90 days after your first monthly payment, it has been past that. This is absolutely time consuming. They are finding ways to not give people their money. Thank you so much again for your videos.

Sorry to hear that about your payment. I see it’s been 2 months since your last post, have you received your backpay yet?

The firm representing me had sent me an e mail congratulating me.Apparently they got paid what I owed them.The SSDI approval letter has not been received by them or me yet.I guess it must be because Social Security and SSDI are two separate programs?

Thank you for all of the videos. I live in Ohio and some of the information that you give is universal for us. I am currently waiting because my case got sent to a quality review. One of the people that I talked with on the phone had initially told me that my case was approved. Should I be worried that they sent it to this or is it a pretty routine thing?

This stuff is a racket--why does anybody have to go out and get a lawyer to win? Every one of us who had a lawyer won our case why was that? Think about how many of us are out fighting them (SS) for money that we worked so many years for? My lawyer was asked one question and pocketed $6,000. They are tired into this circle of frustration too.

Thank you for your time my question is you said that we will get lump sum before our first monthly check so are you saying that is possible guaranteed or most likely because we get a check next month coming and we are now looking for the lump sum now to hit our account but are you saying that it will hit our account before the next month checks start which will be our first check for the monthly?

I received a letter one day denying my ssdi. Then I received a letter from ssi saying they denied me ssi, but it has been determined that I am disabled. called ssi and case worker told me verbally over the phone that it has been determined I am disabled. Yet I have not received a letter stating how much I am entitled to. I am confused.

I was approved for SSDI.I even got a payment direct deposited into my checking account on March 12. It was higher than my early retirement monthly direct deposit that I have received since Sept.of 2018.Today,March 15 I receive 2 letters from Social Security saying that my payments will now be mailed to me.I did not request that.I also get a Social Security letter saying the amount is the same as it has been.Is that because early retirement Social Security and SSDI are two different programs?

I was approved for SSDI benefits during, from what I’m told, the reconsideration review process. Did not need to go before a judge. I received my back pay in 48 hours once I got the decision My wife and I relieved. Still waiting on the decision letter

I have a question. I was in a car accident September 12 2020 that left me disabled. I applied for SSDI on April 15 2021. Just found out A few days ago I was approved. Iam not understanding about the 5 month waiting period. Can someone please explain, how many months of back pay will I get? Thank you for the video.👍

QUESTION: Is it normal to have a hearing and not hear anything even after 9 months? Nothing from SS, nothing from my attorney. I have called my attorney at least 2 times. Should I call my attorney more often or what? I'm trying to be understanding..

Thank You as always for your videos 1st & foremost, my question is, if a client is awarded & does not have a current bank account established how is the intial payment given? I would think on the initial payment procedure would have to be a mailed check,am I correct? Again, Thank You for the your time in constructing these helpful videos.

I believe government uses direct express debit cards for payment of benefits if you don't have bank account. I received one about same time I received awards letter but had a bank account and did not need
