I Wrong-Warped from Mario to Duck Hunt

I know for a fact that in the early 90s when my Mario/Duck Hunt cart was dying, it had a hardware glitch that caused it to switch between the games the last time I played it. My Nintendo may have been part of the problem as well. It didn't reset, it switched to a duck flying after Mario jumped, and the game never wokld work after that, but I couldn't recreate that glitch.

i've had this happen on my cart, think it's just one of the pins on the cartridge being a bit worn down. probably doesn't help if you have one of the replacement 72-pin connectors that are way too tight.

If I could go back and play a game for the first time again, it'd either be LoZ: Ocarina of Time, or Mafia (2001). Both of these games have exceptional world building and storytelling, and hold up very well despite being made while 3D games were still fairly new. I'd probably go with Ocarina of Time at the end of the day, though. Something about that game, idk, playing it just feels like a warm hug even though I didn't even grow up playing it lol.
