IAA: Wrecked Supercar Auction Hunting Ft. 600lt, Huracan, 488, 911, GTR (Copart Walk Around)

In today’s video I take a trip to Insurance Auto Auctions (IAAI) at the North Hollywood branch in California, There are many wrecked supercars at this specific IAA branch including a 2020 C8 Corvette, Lamborghini Urus, Lamborghini Huracan, Aston Martin Vantage, Aston Martin DB9, Mclaren 600LT, Mercedes Benz AMG GT, Porsche 911 Turbo, Ferrari 488, Rolls Royce Phantom, and another Mclaren 600lt.
No Frame Damage, those are the type of cars I typically look for.

That blue Austin Martin you showed was at the yard I used to work at in got bumped my a semi in traffic if the trunk is open it has a lot of fiber glass damage and the quote to fix the car was 50k

The 911 is a 993 variant, not the earlier cars you compared to, it may well have been totalled as new parts have been deleted from the Porsche catalogue, therefore it gets totalled. The 993 is maybe the most collectible 911 as it’s the last of the air cooled, I’d buy that example if I had the chance.

That Porsche doesnt look like an 89... maybe a 99... but the headlamps and front clip are different than the ones you showed pics of (unless previous owner did a front clip swap)... Also.... that URUS has a passenger seat airbag blown and it can be seen in your video!@

That Porsche isn't a 993 turbo. If I had to guess it's a narrow body Carrera 2 that someone put on wide fenders on. And if it is described as a 1989 car then it's not even a 993. It's a 964 that has been rebodied? Anyway, something def weird with it.

So yea prob was an '89 that someone crashed bad at some point, re-bodied as a 993 (which you can do I believe since a 964 and 993 are very similar cars) and then obviously it got crashed again. Still though if the frame is solid and mechanicals are good (big *if*) it could be a fun driver if the price is right.
