Is it effective in real sword fighting??

If you're over 70 and can move that way with such muscle memory. Yes, I would think this is all relevant to being good with a sword.

I play muso shinden-ryu as well, his ending move i think is confused with starting move.

Zheran Li, You are wrong. Movements are not confused.

My sensei(7th dan) told me the ending movement, iaito handle should head to left. Maybe different style?

It was a special Iaido embu, to celebrate 150 years of Japan-Belgium Friendship. The embu was presented by two Japanese nanadan: Oda sensei (hanshi hachidan) and Furuichi sensei (kyoshi hachidan). In this video presented Furuichi sensei only. Furuichi seysey turned his head to the right and looked at Oda Sensei. After Oda sensei finished Embu compre they left the demonstration area together.

Is because this was a Koryu Embu not seitei?
@zheranli89677 жыл бұрын
I think sensei is performing koryu kata. In koryu, bow in and bow out and many other movements have a big difference with sentei kata. For what I know, 1) bow in and bow out, iaito handle head to the other direction, 2) in sitting position, just like tsuka-ate, hands facing up instead of facing down.

J'ai eu le mal de mer, à cause de la caméra mal tenu à la main. Pour autant, je ne critique pas la performance.
