My mother had Ewing Sarcoma, a bone cancer, she passed when I was 18 months old. I believe she was diagnosed around the 6 months point after I was born, then passed right around a year later (she was 28). She was having a lot of back problems before it was found, a chiropractor had ordered either a X-Ray or MRI (not sure which) and there was a spot that was found. He told my family not to worry about it. Who knows if it would have saved her cuz i'm not sure when that was and it was obviously a very aggressive form of cancer, but always get that second opinion. It absolutely tore my father apart, he became a drug addict and went to prison, I stopped living with him by the time I was 3. Cancer tears live apart in more ways than one, don't have the it can't be me attitude. Congrats Trent on making it through and thanks for sharing your story. Much love.

Unfortunately stories like these are very common. You should always get a 2nd opinion regardless of the conflict. My parents lost their first born son due to a misdiagnosis. His first one was a couple of months after he was born but they went home but were skeptical. a month later they rush him to the hospital because his skin was turning blue. Turned out a piece of his heart couldn’t fully develop and he was immediately sent to Boston Childrens hospital. The operation was successful but he was still in critical condition and never woke up. After his passing my parents received calls from numerous lawyers asking if they wanted to press charges, but my parents wanted to grieve in peace and didn’t want a check for their dead son. Peace and love ❤️

Salute to you Trent for not trashing Washington on your way out the door. So much info was worded and slanted o TV/Radio and print to make you look bad..Glad people can finally see why you did not trust team medical personnel and were willing to sit out if necessary.
