I’m sorry that happened in Mexico dear.. I went to a yoga class in short sleeves (I normally always wear breathable long sleeves) and after class the lady next to me asked “what do you do for your eczema?”… I looked at her and said what do you mean? She repeated and then said her daughter has it so I asked what does she do. And we talked for 15 minutes and I told her mine is TSW when she mentioned her daughter uses hydrocortisone. I had plans after the class so I tried to remain in good spirits. When I got home I broke down and cried to my bf about it.. I went to the yoga class to relax and forget about all my troubles not be constantly reminded! I get that people want to help but when you’ve literally tried everything it’s like just mind your business!! Either see me for me or keep your mouth SHUT! So glad to see your post💚 I’m a long time warrior too. would you ever try CAP treatments at skin solace?

100% just let me live! I hope your interaction with her wasn't rude on her part (some people can be so insensitive in how they ask us about our condition which really puts you in defence mode, like how I was with the guy in Morocco) I'm seeing it as a mother needing guidance on how to treat her daughters eczema. Hopefully she now has more info about steroids and TSW. So sorry it upset you. Its out of frustration more than anything! You just want to be left alone and forget about how different you look to others, I understand. About CAP, I haven't done enough research into it to make an informed decision but the money aspect of it would really put me off. If it was a guaranteed treatment then that is great for those in withdrawal. But since it isn't guaranteed to clear your skin, then I think it would be a huge financial risk. I can't see the pricing on the site but I remember reading that a block of 10 sessions costs hundreds or close to £1000. I'm happy to just ride this out free of charge lol and the good thing is since making this video my skin has actually gotten a lot better - less stressed and vitamin D have probably helped me but again, this could change up again. If you have the funds to spare, why not try it? For me, it's a no. The serum I have tried. I'll admit it's expensive and did absolutely nothing for me. I've never been that person to buy things just because I've been told it works and I felt I bought it at my LOWEST point in my journey, probably around 4 months after my daughter was born. I used 15ml, saw no change, never rebought it and my skin/face is doing fine without it, 2 years later. Not to say it doesn't work for people, I'm not everyone and this is only my experience but because it's being marketed as a TSW product I think it can upsold as something we NEED to heal. I'm just very sceptical of things like this... just my opinon! Sorry for the essay lol

Always love an update from you!❤ I feel you, I was holding back getting married because of my skin. I decided to do it anyway, because I was tired of it holding me back. My skin wasn't the best but it was still a beautiful day. Now I'm 6 months pregnant, and my skin has been the best it's been for the whole journey, just flaring around my mouth and allergies.

Aww lovely to hear from you again! And I agree 100%. I put off having kids due to my fear of passing on my eczema.... but then when I finally got pregnant and gave birth I flared anyway and all of my worst fears came true about my own eczema getting in the way of me being a mother but I got through it! And I have my beautiful daughter... if you keep waiting for the right time it will never come. Congratulations on your wedding! I saw your pictures, they are gorgeous!😍

Hi Zainab! How are you doing these days. It is sept 26-2024 and I still follow you and so happy to see your recovery. You’ve came out of the storm and now into the sunshine. I am still struggling deeply after diagnosis this month of eczema. It’s hard and bad. They gave me topical steroid and omg I am scared to even put one dot of it on my skin! They offered dupexent but I have not committed. I am a bit lost and exhausted. Hugs. Just wanted to check in with u.

@letskeepitmoving hi sorry for the late reply. I'm doing ok! My skin is calm and it doesn't dominate my life at the moment. I had a flare back in February, but I recovered quickly

Some people don’t have good manners of approach, especially when they want to sell to tourist. It will most likely be a concoction of things with steroid 🫣 I get that also from relatives that wants to ‘support’

Awww, reading replies is like catching up with you too! Although I'm curious as to what it may have been (maybe an oil blend?) it was unsolicited advice. I wasn't shopping for myself and didn't even enter the shop to be dragged in! lol Now I'm home my skin has been doing better than ever, I'll be sure to update you guys soon! x

I feel for you. Thing is once the hair starts growing again, you're left with another annoying stage of trying to even out the 2 levels of hair. What caused your hair loss?

New subscriber. Your eczema looks like mine. Your makeup is beautiful. I’d love to know what are your daily skincare products? I feel you. I went through extreme hair shedding that I’m still waiting to grow back (not related to pregnancy). Could you have a sun allergy, sunburn, or maybe even heat rash in Morocco?
@iambeezee Жыл бұрын
Hello new subbie! Thanks for watching. That could be a new video idea thank you, I keep my routine VERY simple. Wash my face with hot water, apply hyaluronic serum and then aquaphor.... that's it! I rarely wear makeup up too, only do my eye brows so it would be a short video 🤣 As for my skin I think It was a mixture! I don't think it was burn because I did use sunscreen but maybe a reaction to the heat and sunscreen gave me heat rash? The days after the holiday I was shedding so much - not peeling like sun burn though! Just tiny bits of dry skin flakes. In my next video I'll show the recovery ❤️

Just wondering does your legs flare up if so how do you treat it? and what do you use?
@tkaygg Жыл бұрын
Are you using argan oil yourself? It caused my mothers eczema in her scalp to come back.. Very unexpected as oils are usually very good for eczema.
@iambeezee Жыл бұрын
Nope! I agree about oils, you think they'd be moisturising but they aren't, especially when you skin is EXTREMELY dry - they just sit on top. I don't even like using oil in my hair to be honest! I only use oil to remove my make up (it's just quicker!) But I don't apply it to my skin to moisturise it.
