Like for real, i always maintain my saying of "i don't have a bias, i just support everyone" but since i saw him in cherry bomb era i was delighted to levels i didn't though that existed. I was impressed by just one person and started to search about him and discovered a lot of his talents and the fact that he composed, made some choreo moves, lyrics, raps, sub vocals, really impressed me. Since then i started to get into content of him and here i am with my 11 years of being a kpoper and my only one bias that only keeps refreshing me why he's the only one. I hope that he get the rest that he deserves for some time because it's not ok to push yourself to levels where you start hurting yourself... But after that, I'll still continue being by his side from this part of the hole world, no matter what rumor, hater, or any other thing, I'll support him. He deserves it. They're all rappers and leaders but they also get so much creative freedom and are the aces at everything. SM and YG are so good at making idols. While other members are also undeniably talented there is truly something special about Taeyong. Not only he is exceptionally talented, he also has this intense aura around him. Performances with him are like meals with best spices. I also feel like this intensity helps his members to push themselves to do better too. And it's not to mention that how amazing he is in his instinctual grasp on music and dance. It's like he just knows how to make songs sound better with his creative usage of adlibs and intonation changes, and how to change choreo to create truly eyecatching highlights, making performance more engaging to watch. And it's all to addition that nct 127 and u's signature sound itself as it is heavily influenced by him (and Mark, perhaps). Like, you can see it in the way how different sound their iconic title tracks from vocal-heavy b-sides where their creative input is minimal. Metaphorically putting, Taeyong is both dough of the cake, but also the cherry on it's top. Cake would still be tasty, but it wouldn't be so special. That's why Taeyong is amazing. 12:58 when Xiaojun said it's not easy for him everyone, I felt it. Taeyong always seems very happy go lucky but he's perhaps been the most traumatised out of all the boy artists. He's been falsely accused of bullying. He's been hated on because he usually gets the centre role and a good amount of lines (which is not his fault). He's been dragged down for things he didn't even do. He's been bullied in middle school yet he never loses hope. He could have been a douchebag like western artists but he's been the kindest soul giving us encouragements, consoling us, supporting his members. He's originally the leader of NCT 127 but he's taken up the mantle and the responsibility for the entire group of NCT without question. This is not to say that other members are not kind or good. Taeyong is also called THE MADMAN ON STAGE because of his theatrics and stunts. SM houses the creme de la creme of idols, Taeyong is one of those on top of the level of artistry. An artist through and through, he puts himself in not-too-safe situations for the love of his craft. Watching him perform is like watching a theater play. While he reminds me so much of Jaejoong, Taeyong proves over and over again why he is not "the next" to anyone but the first of himself. I'm thankful for SM allowing more creative freedom for NCT, thankful that producers and choreographers allow him to be part of the process, learn from the process, and tweak the process.
