It's still strange that Joe's reaction is "what a relief that you imprisoned my psychopathic brother" rather than "why the hell did you so thoughtlessly imprison my psychopathic brother, on whom the lives of everyone in the coven depend, including mine, in a place where he could easily die?!" Like Kai doesn’t even need to come up with a vengeful plan, all he needs to do is be eaten by these withered vampires, catch a cold and get pneumonia, and damn, just stumble and fall badly. Yes, he can just kill himself to spite everyone. He has a history of suicide. This is, of course, the last option, because he needs to take revenge not only on the coven, at the moment they are not in first place.
