I never get sick of watching this ian. I have watched this at least 5 times and its one of the best podcasts or videos on youtube, if not the best video! Becouse i never get fed up with it, as it has me on the edge of my seat becouse its all true stuff and told by a real glasgow hard man in your day and still is but want to settle down. And all you did hear was tell the truth, but your a natural at talking to an audience and telling your storys ian of days gone bye and what you want for the future as your finished with crime. And i do believe that ian, your a joy to watch and hear and your videos go in very quick, infact too quick, wich means we are all enjoying them and never want them to end! Every few days i check to see if you have did a new video. So keep them coming big man.

Zee mcphee, thats so true. When i heard paul and james english charged £85 a ticket i thought thats a bit steep. Tbh i wouldnt have paid £35. What for? To hear what happens when your in jail all your adult life. So paul wasnt a good criminal. He is good to listen to but not that much better than my friends and they give me all the jail and there past criminal life talk for free. £85 was the rolling stones playing there that night. I thought vendetta was a great read but the rest after that were a bit boring. You could see it was sagging as it went on.

The three of you ought to just shake hands and say no more as these public spats are really unflattering. As a bystander and listener to the English channel it was the early days interview with Blink that ignited the Anything Goes channel for me so quite poor that it seems that he cannot show some support now. He should not forget that you meet the same people on the way up as the way down so treat everyone with kindness and courtesy. Looking forward to seeing the Blink channel go from strength to strength this year. Thank you.

Callum brown, thats true. I have heard james english say lots of times how he had a gift at football lol well he never made it proffesioal and in the day when it was alot easier to make it. Becouse so many teams couldnt afford the mega money to buy the players they needed. So i would say that you maybe were a good amature player but you certainly didnt have a gift mate becouse no one wanted you! Tbh james i thought you wanted paul ferris to move in with you as your uncle paul lol but am sure paul even needs a break from you now and again. But paul is good to listen too becouse he is a clever guy. I have wonderd a few times if paul was always as clever as that from a young man or did he learn it all by reading books in jail as its a great way to get educated. Becouse i know other guys who have did lots of time and just read books and they can talk just like paul ferris and even better becouse they carried on learning when they got out of jail.but paul sounds as if he could have been a bank manager. And its not easy to stay on the strait and narrow especialy the way people are being pushed into dire poverty. And as i heard some one say a week or two ago "we had poverty thrushed upon us so we had to steal to put food on the table. People dont go looking for poverty it just comes your way and sneaks up on you and before you know it you are already in it. And its not nice becouse we all want to have respect and dignity and look good but poverty takes that away from you" and its true. You always have to be one or two steps ahead of being in poverty. But then again you can lose everything in 5 minutes thats how quick and easy it can happen. I have been in poverty myself, i wouldnt say it was dire poverty as i saw people worse than me, but i wasnt far behind them. I hated it and would always try a way to get out of it especialy when i was alot younger like 16...19, 25. Becouse when i lost my job at age 16 and had no money to live on it was soul destroying. That was in 1989. I was old enough to smoke, have sex, get married, leave school, and many more, but i wasnt entitled to claim welfare to keep me alive?? How fucked up is that. I tried every day to get a job but becouse i was under 17 they could only pay me £28 a WEEK and if you take dinner money off that it was £20 a week and thousands all over scotland had to pay £10 a week bus fares, leaving them with £10 at the end of the week. Plus we had to start again on the monday with no money! It was and still is a disaster. Pure slavery, you have to walk to work and not eat all day. You had no option but to either get money trying other things. The goverment could have easily paid £80 a WEEK to 16 year olds and at least £100 a week when you were 17. Becouse in the long run it would have kept thousands of 16 year olds in a job and then at 18 they would have got a proper job becouse so many companys would have kept them on. But instead hundreds of thousands at 18 were queing up to clain dole money. And sneaky greedy companys were just using the goverment, when people got to 18 they would get paid off. Then the company would wait a few weeks and apply for at least 40 to 60 16 year olds to work for £28 a week on a yts and the goverment paid for there meansly 28 pound. Honestly the goverment could have did something about all that, and they did nothing and still do nothing. Labour wanted the companys to pay at least £60 and they would pay £30 making it £90 for 16s and the torys said no chance its all about training not money plus the companys said no chance. Its about training them. But we wernt being trainend, i didnt see my supervisor in 12 weeks. And any other one for that matter! It was pathetic and people trusted these shower of aliens. And of course crime pays, you just have to be good at it. Its like a game of football you win some you lose some! Am not saying thats what to do, but try and get a trade behind you and you will rarely be out of work!

well said blink 👍 nicely done.. you've always been ma favourite gangster, you and wee joe steele are my fave's, mostly because of the genuine honesty that just flows from yous... its shocking that mr ferris cany just get over himself and live and let live, but its clearly jealousy.. it doesnt matter how nice you are haters are always gony hate, its his issue.. take care pal
