Bok fan here. Fozzy is a heck of a coach, and his calm dimmeaner is Vintage AB. BIG UP TO his future with the Sunwolves.

How does Fozzy have more class than Steve...? Fozzy was treated like crap by his own union and people and yet he is showing more class and pragmatism than anyone else... much respect and great interview...
@jeremyviall4168Күн бұрын
I had no issue with SH. He called a spade a spade and spoke his mind rather than toed the line people might have preferred. You always knew with Steve that if he said it he meant it, good bad or otherwise.

Record wise he wasn’t the ideal coach respectfully but you are bank on the money in regards how he was treated. It was real unfortunate that he didn’t get the redemption arch that he deserved especially Sam Cane. But at the end of the day it is what it is

Love hearing from Foz. Isn’t exactly my favourite coach of all time but the analysis and rugby chat is always awesome to listen to.

Not an AB supporter, I was left scratching my head at his appointment. Still, he got them to the final. NZRU did him very dirty in how they treated him.
@sanjivat2 күн бұрын
Humble man. Whatever the outcome and the public view, NZR could have treated him with respect. He is still a kiwi. He did make it good during the RWC. Just bad luck ABs lost due to uncontrollable human factors. It was ABs game.

He wasn’t the best coach, yes, but that doesn’t take away that he is a good bloke and that he was so unfortunate with not winning that World Cup final. That would’ve been a middle finger to NZRU and those who gave him so much backlash during his time as coach.

Thanks for the game chaps. 1-1-1-2 Perfect against the best of NZ Tonga Samoa & Fiji & toughest route ever to a final. The best was not the best. Trust us we understand the pain!

The only one out of all the coaching staff to admit they lost that final fair and square instead of crying like some people saying that they were robbed 😂😂😂😂

Good man, biggest mistakes naming his skipper before the season and shifting Ardie to 8 to make way for Sam Cane. Second mistake, shifting twice world player of year BB at 10 to fullback to make way for Ritchie Mounga.
@robertosalsone56552 күн бұрын
He should have interchange B.B and Richie. He turned BB into a utility player , decision backfired.
@robertosalsone56552 күн бұрын
He should have reversed his decision when Cane got his first concussion. Cane was rested and when he came back the captaincy was given back to Cane.

Marty: “Are you waiting for your ticket to the VIP lounge?” Foz: “I’d just prefer a seat in the terrace.” Good Kiwi bloke!

Fozzy is just building up his pension fund now. The guy really got a bad deal from the fans. AB 2024 season puts everything in perspective and makes you realize that Fozzy wasn't so bad after all.

Hanson got lucky beating the Boks with 2 points in 2015. Never forget that. 2023 was revenge. Unlucky for Fozzie.
@jeremyviall4168Күн бұрын
As an All Black supporter I am always on the edge of my seat when we play the Boks. Except for that game. May have only been a 2 point margin, but we were never going to lose that game, it never felt close (even though it was) I think those sides were further apart then you think.

I think losing to Ireland in a home series should hurt even more but they were woefully inconsistent.

Get over it. They only reached the final, due to the amazing coaching by Jason Ryan. Sick of his moaning. The SA played better and deserved to win. He was OK as an assistant coach. But not good enough to be the head coach.
@Nuhealth7712 күн бұрын
Your 💯 percent right mate. You just need to add in joe Schmidt. If it wasn't for Ryan and Schmidt I doubt we would have got past the QF

When they played poorly it was everything to do with Foster, when they played well it was nothing to do with him. That makes complete sense.

NZ was robbed by their discipline. Such a shame that they are professional and still don't follow the rules.

Goodness now all the negative Neville nobody knockers are saying are saying how great he is. He was a terrible selector, absolutely terrible. Nice chap, useless selector.
@nepiahemopo170214 сағат бұрын
Using your logic, Razor must be worse because he has stuck with much of Fozzy's poor selections. 😂😂
