This is pretty off-topic, but what the hell is a 'black hole analog' that can be created with a few thousand atoms? What can be an analog for a black hole? Is it a black hole itself? Or something supposed to be like a black hole? Examining it apparently confirms some of Hawking's theories. But is it like treating a mouse brain or a pigs brain as an analog for a human brain?
