Hi Ian, are those pins already populated in the harness? If not, do you have idea what's the part number for those pins? Tia

Most likely not already there. I don't know the part number. I always just get them from the wreckers. Any Audi instrument cluster plug will have the correct pins for the module and then just find the lift side plug from AliExpress or eBay.

Both rings logo. I think they just updated the letter at the end. Maybe A no longer available and G still available

@@D4u-Production mine is 2007. Had to retrofit the wiring into the door control modules then update the coding.

Excellent video Ian. I'had Done this installation on past month. But with chinese projector. It's clearly The differences from OEM projector. I'm have a big doubt in how to install The footwell light for a Facelift model. Are you planing to release a video for footwell too? Thank you very much.

Hello Oni Driver. Yes the genuine one is much better! I have already made this installation of footwell lights :) you need to make some connections into the cecm + coding. It’s not too difficult. I can work on this video :)

Hey. I don't know. Try it and see if the coding stuff is accessible. I guess end of the day you will have a scanning tool.

Hi Ovi - If you don't already have the plain lights in your door then you will need o add wiring + coding 😃

Hi Ian, 8J8959801E is my drivers door module and 8J8959802E the passenger one. Any idea what pins I should use? I can't seem to find any pinout online... No idea if it's pre face-lift or what. 2008 TTS. Tia!

@@ianpgonzaga Hi Ian, is it possible to connect to those pins 1 or 18-19 dont know what module i have now, but i want to connect Blue Dynamic mirror light "Welcome lights". Is there a constant current or does it work only if car is stationary and its unlocked ? or do you know which other pin can i use for that ? i have 2007 without puddle light.

@@kidlifecrysis4203 I know these aren't constant because they turn off after a while even with door open. You'd have to just use a multimeter to find a constant 12v. Otherwise the thick red or red w/green will have constant as. They power the module.

Hello Ian. I'm interested in a VCDS but they all come with a CD-ROM. My laptop does not support that any more😅 Was wondering if you are in the same position as me and you were able to download the drivers to a non CD-ROM laptop. Thanks mate and keep up the good work 🤗

I’ve never had a cd rom with my cable and always have downloaded the program and upgrades from the ross-tech website.

@@brunotavares1642 mine is the first version cable Hex+CAN I don’t think they make it anymore so it’s only available second hand. Maybe look on eBay?

hello, I bought the LED courtesy lights "QUATTRO" to replace the current courtesy LED lights of my audi Tts 8j and I'm wondering if they are not compatible; I bought the following 4G0 052 130H if they are not compatible, what can I do to make them compatible?

Hi Giuseppe. Just looked them up. It seems they’ve used the old, big plug type for these units in the larger cars. www.ecstuning.com/b-genuine-volkswagen-audi-parts/led-lights/4g0052130h/ You can see it’s shape is neither like the ones I used. You can easily get this 2 pin connector from Audi VW’s
