Cool demo, bully. This bass Looks radical and it sounds great for metal. but Personally I like the soundgear basses more. Especially since I’ve been playing these basses for many years. Other than that, this seems like a great bass to own for rock and metal music.

Hey Allen, I love your videos so much. Question about the Geezer Butlers (anyone else who has experienced them feel free to chime in too), Are these pickups as sensitive in the highs as I think they are? I’m debating getting a replacement PJ set for my Fender PJ Deluxe and I’m apprehensive about getting something that snarls too much in the highs. Ideally I’d like to get a more balanced set of PJs that offer lots of clarity across the spectrum. For context I’m also looking at the Seymour Duncan set as well as the Aguilar noiseless set.

These have a character that leans more to the aggressive player but know that you can dial it back If you need to. Better to have too much than to little

Yep, that thing snarls and clanks! Low did a nice job on it. The neck looks pretty comfy too. Even including the mods still seems like a good deal.

I owned the original version of this bass..its a 1986 ibanez rd727 bass.. This version sounds so average and commercial...this bass would have better modified with bartolini pick ups and a bartolini or dark glass preamp.
