could you do a video on planning, and how to plan effectively please?. especially how to make a plan that has all your ideas, well developed and written up, but to do it quickly at the same time

This is a great idea. With only 15 minutes to plan, we need a good system. In short, read and annotate (Big ideas on the left, features on the right), determine a main message or claim of the text, write a rudimentary outline (with GQ in mind). Start writing! Every body paragraph needs to address the GQ AND support the thesis (main claim). Use textual references and discuss many stylistic features and how they shape meaning.

I was really hoping for an analysis about the dialogue "it's our sacred cow" since I could tell it has *some* significance but I'm not clear as to what the implication/interpretation is. Would you have any insights on that?

This is the punchline of the cartoon and they are playing with this expression since the cow is indeed sacred in India but the other meaning is that the patent for the vaccine is a prized possession of Big Pharma. It’s an ironic punchline.

Do examiners like it when you write on alternating lines? Or does it not matter?

No. Don’t skip lines. Write clearly and legibly but skipping lines is annoying for examiners. You can write on both sides. Use a good pen, blue or black of course.

Great question. We used this with our students after discussing the topic in our classes. This type of cartoon would NOT be on an official IB assessment as the context is too specific for a global audience.
