I had my eyes on a Mojo for a while , then I took one out and found a very strange thing with it. It was always front end heavy, I like to ride with the front end unweighted going through trails, and especially over jumps, I found the front end always wanted to dive down. I really want to try the Ripley I think is more my style.

That sounds like a fork setup problem. I have the M4 and don't have that issue at all.. super fun bike.

I bought those poc vpd system elbow pads Clint thanks for the link. I bought the knee pads but I'm returning for the longer version vpd 2.0. I feel like i need a little more coverage over the shins.

Good review, Clint. I have this bike and it's super fun , but I agree.. on 27.5 bikes I also feel pitched forward a bit more than I'd like. It's a combination of the lower stack and steep STA. I might have to start checking out 29ers to feel more comfortable. (interested in the new carbon Stumpjumpers with the redesigned suspension). Anyway, thanks for this..looking forward to more rides and vids on the Mojo 👍

I wonder how sales numbers compare between the Mojo and the Ripley. I can't imagine that they're selling a lot of 27.5 bikes.

So I am stuck trying to decide between a Mojo4 and a Ripley! The comment on forward weighted is a little confusing because both the Mojo and Ripley have very similar stack heights and seat angles. It might be a set up issue. But as always another great video and your reviews are solid.

I assume it's a trail bike? I am looking at getting a 27.5 cross country bike, would the MoJo work?

Great review. Do you change your suspension set up for the mountains as opposed to a cross country trail. If you use most of your travel in the mountains how much suspension travel would you use on a more mellow cross country trail Thanks

I keep everything the same, except maybe back off compression damping for the mountains

Hey Clint, I'm a travel nurse and I'm down here in Tampa for 6 months. Wondering if you could recommend any trails? I also have a gravel bike. I have no idea how to find gravel routes; any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for all the advice over the years, you've given me a few.

For MTB, definitely check out Alafia. Balm Boyette is close as well - it’s more XC though. I’m not familiar with gravel trails/roads in Tampa but Flatwoods has some gravel sections and tame single track trails that a gravel bike could do.

Definitely Alafia River State Park and Balm Boyette. I'm not familiar with gravel roads down there. A lot of concrete in that area of Florida. But check out this website gravelmap.com/#10/29.8378/-82.6129

Like I said in the video it's pretty custom. Shimano SLX but carbon rims and a Fox fork

I do need to make some more gravel bike videos. Did a really nice 3 and 1/2 hour ride last night 🙂. With gravel roads right near my house it's so convenient!

On the 27.5… you might not make it 😱

Honestly, this trail looks not that interesting. Point and shoot - top to bottom. I would need some other features and challenges than that to be able to review a bike. There’s no need to be nimble in a straight line.. the way up though, sounded like a good test of the bike’s ability to climb. Maybe a follow-up video in more interesting terrain?
