I thought the initial few feet would fill quickly... especially with all the spring feeding into your Amazing Lake! How quickly from now on, will be the question! How much longer until full pool? :) I look forward to seeing future updates, for sure! I'm glad you & Chris decided to built up the dam with enough freeboard to allow you to build up the overflow if you want to, once you can easily assess 'Full Pool' around the Entire lake. One thing I feel you seem to have been neglecting is where you intend on having a bathing/beach area: You seem to be be placing fish structures and spawning beds in virtually every area that I, personally, imagined a beach area (not that fish structure and habitat is bad, I encourage it)... Not only that, I imagine that it would be nice to have a sandy bottom upto waist height, in any beach/bathing area you create... So with 4' left to 'Full Pool' now would surly be a good time to lay in your beach(s), with a nice sandy bottom :)
@BrushCommando12 сағат бұрын
@@bobinator17 you’re absolutely right. The wildlife conservation side of me is saying to focus on more habitat, over building beaches that would rarely be used… The large spawning bed and the area near the feeder pond would have been the ideal locations for beaches… got some thinking to do.

@@BrushCommando I'm glad to hear that Wildlife Conservation is a Big part of your Psyche and Focus... but with such a large investment & water/lake area, there's surely a small part that you can develope for yours & your families enjoyment! :) I hope you think things over before the water level rises too high to do much for recreation, you've all the equipement and materials to do what you like... with only fuel and personal time costs.
