The second exception confuses me because there are also words in the previous lesson that has 2 syllable&vowel words like "Kitob, Kalit, Mushuk" but it's not supposed to change into "Kitbi, Kalti, Mushki" so I can't quite understand how to identify whether you should use the exception rule or not. :(

I suppose you just have to know how it is for each word? Maybe learn the "my" form for each word together with the alone-standing one. E.g. kitob, kitobim singil, singlim and so on.

Assalomu aleykum, Saida! I understand how to change the five exception words by dropping the second vowel before adding “im”But aren’t there more two-syllable words with two vowels? I am thinking of examples like asal, shakar, stakan, and yulduz. Can you please help me understand the difference? Thank you! Debbie

Kata Rahmat. So for third person singular & plurals, are they "uning ogli" and "ularning ogli"?
