AS a beginner, how do you get to that "Ping" screen on the laptop? It would be great if you could do it in video format for dummies like myself. Thank you.

Click start. Type in or find command. In command prompt type in ping 192.168.1.3 Or whatever IP you want to ping. Put ping 192.168.1.3 -t If you want it to ping forever until you close it.

Thanks for this video. But however hard I try, and no matter how long I hold the reset button in (and I believe I am hitting the button) the lights don't show that I've reset it and I cannot log in to the default IP address. I am using an edgeswitch for PoE, not the PoE adaptor so can't reset there. I would appreciate any help, thanks.

It is possible that someone has disabled the reset button in the Settings (System tab) in the web interface. Not sure what your option is there if that has been done - probably best to ask on the Ubiquiti forums.

You can see and feel the micro switch if you look closely. They are frigging flakey Radio. I have had 4 of them that wont reset or save their settings once they have reset. Wasted hours of time trying to trouble shoot them. Id go for Cambuium and day

I've got only a couple of these Nanostations "out in the field" and both sets have been 100% reliable.

I was not able to reset my device this way. Instead, i had to open it and push new firmware via TFTP, after putting it into urescue (i think it was) via a serial header on the PCB.

The person who originally configured it could have turned off the reset button. It's an option in the GUI.

After a power outage my m2 has no signal and factory reset didnt work the signal lights were red/ yellow then to yellow/green they would stich to Each color. Now just no signal after powering it off for 15 minutes. Then got a signal but no internet

Have you re-set it up after factory resetting it ? If not, it won't know where or what to connect to!

Can you explain more about "can't get them to connect to the internet" ? You've factory reset them and then what are you doing after that? Where are you trying to connect to, or are you trying to use two of the devices to "bridge" a network between two locations?

Once I factory rest I reconfigure them. I’ve setup at least 20 of these devices in the past. Sometimes it it goes smooth and sometimes not. I’ve watched you’re video multiple times today and wrote down each step but still no luck.

@@bradjohnson9204 If you change a setting and then do the reset does that setting get wiped? If you backup the config of a pair of known working ones and restore it onto the ones you can't get working do they link up ?

Bro how much voltage poe adapter of this nanostation?

24V 0.5A (Positive on pins 4,5 and negative on 7,8). The model number of the PoE adapter I used was GP-A240-050 or Part Number POE-24-12W. Hope this helps. Please subscribe if it did.

I don't think I understand the question. Are you asking if you can reset it using the web interface without physical access to the device ?

You need to know the IP to be able to ping it. If you don't know the IP you might be able to use this: chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/ubiquiti-device-discovery/hmpigflbjeapnknladcfphgkemopofig?hl=en It is designed for Unifi devices but might work with the nanostation.

If you got your device from an ISP they may have disabled the factory reset button.

en este video te voy a mostrar como para restablecer de fábrica una pequeña estación nano loco m2 tengo otro video mostrando cómo restablecer los valores de fábrica usando el pin de reinicio en el inyector p OE pero en este video sera como resetearlo de fabrica si está usando un interruptor p OE o algún otro método al que no puedas llegar el inyector p OE donde podría necesitar para restablecerlo de fábrica usando el botón en el dispositivo por lo que en mi configuración actual tenerlo en la dirección IP incorrecta para que el los pings se están agotando y el objetivo es restablecerlo de fábrica y obtener los pings de vuelta, así que si obtienes tu estación nano y mire en la parte inferior frente a la LAN la conexión es un agujero de reinicio sin embargo hay mucho espacio libre donde puede pegar papel hasta más allá del botón de reinicio y también si lo bajas en un ángulo también te perderás el reinicio y el botón de reinicio está hacia el borde del caso ver si puedo enfocar en eso más o menos allí, así que si pones el clip en este extremo del agujero eso no hará nada si vas a verte puedes ver la luz a través de ahí tú puede subir el clip hasta el final ahí adentro eso no va a hacer nada así que va a ser bastante difícil dile que lo aprietas y yo También te mostraré las luces cuando yo hazlo así que voy a tratar de alinear eso y mantenerlo en su lugar y no voy para presionarlo todavía y encender las luces ver y lo mantendré presionado durante alrededor de 10 segundos no hay daño en manteniéndolo presionado por más tiempo, de 10 a 12 segundos para encontrar probablemente lo que estamos buscando es para estas luces de señal para comenzar a parpadear y presione eso es más como que no hay físico retroalimentación sobre ese botón es casi suerte en cuanto a si lo presionas y el forma en que sabrás si has presionado son esas luces de señal que parpadearán el objetivo ahora es, con suerte, lograr un respuesta en el ping porque esta cosa habrá vuelto al restablecimiento de fábrica configuración de fábrica y estará en el dirección IP predeterminada y ahí vamos a hacer ping a la respuesta de este dispositivo en su fábrica de IP predeterminada restablecerlo sin el inyector POA es con ese botón increíblemente complicado en la parte inferior, pero tenga en cuenta que hay mucho espacio alrededor de todo el lugar donde debería poder presionar como un montón de espacio y es bastante complicado para asegurarte de que obtienes el parte correcta que debe presionar si este video te ha sido util serías de mucha ayuda para mí si no lo hicieras importa suscribir los números de suscriptor en KZbin realmente ayuda muchas gracias mucho
