I always omit speaking ‘to’ after the number for avoiding confusion Ex: ‘descent eight thousand’ in stead of ‘descend to eight thousand.

Well... That's why we always use "descend/climb to ALTITUDE/FLIGHT LEVEL xxx".

@@takyno Important, particularly when you're dealing with somebody as stupid as this guy, who writes "after the number," when he obviously means _before_ the number.

Flight Level Two Zero Zero is the correct phraseology
@Stephon-Phillips2 ай бұрын
@@takeoffnetwork24 the correct phraseology is Flight Level two hundred. Only pronounce each number individually when it's not a whole hundred.

8000 hr pilot, this video came up in our recurrent training. Good info and at first I was thinking of using this for our foreign military pilot students, but I found it very hard to follow because of the AI voice with awful inflection and unnatural speech rhythm. Everything just kinds of runs together and turns into a monotonous stream of blabbering. I can't imagine how difficult it would be for a non-native English speaker. I kind of gave up halfway through, sorry.
