At 56 years old, I'm WAY beyond wanting to emulate Eddie any longer... over the last couple of years, I've been playing rockabilly and have a pretty good handle on my Chuck Berry, T-Bone Walker, and Cliff Gallup licks... I was thinking this would be a good tune to apply those licks to, and you've provided a phenomenal standard tuning lesson for this song. I'm super stoked to work up a solo for this now!
