Dude.... Seriously hats off to the level of detail in not only the cue building but also the video and all the subtle angles/focus. Truly amazing! Lots of people do not understand or appreciate the level of detail and craft that go into making a custom cue and your videos.

You put your heart and soul into your work. It doesn't matter what you are doing. I can tell you are always learning and getting better at your craft/s. If it's pool cues or CNC machines, you want it to be correct and as perfect as you can get. Thanks for the display of craftsmanship you show in all your videos. It's really a great day when I see a Studiotronics new video pop up!

Beautiful cues. With every cue, you find ways to set the bar higher and higher. Your pasion and love for the craft truly shines in your cues. I respect and appreciate the amount of thought and effort you put into each individual cue. I've been around a lot of high-end cues, and your work stands side by side, no doubt. Keep up the hard work and dedication. If your cues play as well as they look, there's no limit to your potential. Watching these videos makes me debate moving on from the old and trying something new. Much respect.

I would absolutely love to just shadow you and watch & learn how you masterfully design and craft these beautiful pieces of art!! It's always been a dream of mine to do what you're doing, and at 52yrs old, I think I've finally convinced my wife to greenlight the purchase of a lathe, and possibly a few other cue making tools. I'm sure that most of your success has come from trial and error, so I'm looking forward to the many errors that will certainly come, and hopefully, make me 1/2 as good as you are.

Just discovered your channel yesterday and subscribed. Been binge-watching for hours now. I’ve had only one custom pool cue made for me decades ago and it was nice, but pales in comparison to the extraordinary beauty and craftsmanship I see in your cues. Just exquisite work. Super fun to watch the process and the technology involved in creating these masterpieces is incredible. Thanks for making my 4th of July weekend on KZbin so relaxing and enjoyable. 🤙🏼

I remember the first cue I made. One lathe one milling machine and a drill press, and a lot of sharp tools. Before CNCs were made. It is nice that the new tech machines take out the drudgery of the work and allows for more artistic expression.

I would like to learn how to do this, and almost started purchasing some equipment to get started, its how I found your videos. Anyway, its great watching you work, you are a true artist.

@@nwcubsfan Lucky to have a cue from EO! How's the hit, can you elaborate? I know it's very subjective but for example almost everyone that has hit a Scruggs or a Lambros swear by them. I myself have hit quite a few and was just curious of your experience. Firm/crisp, soft, subtle? Thanks!
@xDeeMox Жыл бұрын
You’re right in that it’s 100% subjective. All I can say is that I like cues that have lots of “action”. Also have 2 Tads and 2 Jacobys. Use 12.5 soft carbon fiber shafts for all. This EO cue has the same feel for me so I love it.
@nwcubsfan Жыл бұрын
@@nathanrodriguez3268 I came from the metal pin world as a long-time Joss owner. This hit is next level and I love it so much. Rather than the crisp 'ping', I'm getting a solid, muted 'thump' due to the radial pin. I'm in love with the hit. I also have a full splice from Eddie that hits even nicer than this cue (which is an amazing feat since this one hits so beautifully).

You're getting better and better Eddie. I've owned many cues, Szamboti, Balabushka, Phillippi, so many. I like the beauty of Phillippi the best and you are getting there. My favorite playing cue was a Mike Stacey sneaky Pete that was just a freaky accident I guess, it had long ivory ferrules and just spun the ball perfectly. I loved the feel of ivory but I would never buy it now. I live in Thailand and after seeing elephants, I can't help sell their remains. You can still get Mastadon stuff that isn't petrified if you're interested in that stuff. The trick as always is how the joint works with the shafts to make the English. I am interested in how yours play and maybe I will order a sneaky Pete someday if you're selling one. Probably a Purple Heart one. I don't play like I used to since my best pool buddy died, I just don't have the desire now. Anyway, I just wanted to mention I see you getting better at this and I know how much skill and talent that takes.

Thanks for the kind words. Sorry to hear about your pool buddy (and I agree with you on the elephants). And you’re right about the bits that matter- joint and tip.
