Ice Out 2013 - Pike Lake - Hartford, WI

It took a few days, but the wind and rain finally pounded the ice into submission. Here's a time lapse taken over April 10 and 11.

Pretty cool...especially for those of us who have waited for ice out for spring fishing to begin. I spent many years at Rangeley Lake in Maine where the local businesses sponsor an ice out lottery every spring. It is an amazing process. Well documented!
