i find that if you rely on AFB, putting the limit below the upcoming speed limit actually slows it down nicely and on time, when you reach within 2km/h of the target speed limit put if up to the speed limit to balance out

Highest I've gotten the ICE to is 380kph on koln-aachen route. Going from Aachen to koln, massivly long downhill gradient to take advantage of for that route if trying for a max speed run.

On TS1, I've managed 320 MPH+ on Marselle-Avignon on the TGV.

I think you’ve confused mph and kph. The TGV can’t reach 320 mph in train sim
