The enormous tabular iceberg A23a is currently drifting north from Antarctica. Here is raw footage from our encounter in the Southern Ocean.
This tabular iceberg is nearly 4000km2, is up to 400m thick and weighs just short of 1 trillion tonnes. It is 40 nautical miles long and twice the size of greater London. Simply massive!

The Iceberg calved in 1986, it was promptly grounded on the seabed. It is currently about 1,500 square miles, about the size of Rhode Island. The iceberg began to move in 2020. It is currently in the Weddell Sea.

Next, when all that mass becomes liquid and adds to the surf and tidal surges what will become of the coastal homes? How will the gravity of the moon be affected when all that liquid mass reaches the equator? The closer a23a floats to the equator the faster it will melt, the faster it melts the more water the moons gravity will have to pull, then what? Will the high tides rise even more and people not allowed to swim during certain points of the day and night? Will the swells in the ocean become too great for ships to travers? Why cant we see what is happening to the sub surface of the iceberg?
@clentistwoud

Nothing. 90% of that mass is already in the water, so nothing will change.

talk about ice, i have a simple method to discern intellectual humans with those who arent. by their notion of what symbolize "ice". the unintellectuals will liken ice to "winter". of course the intellectual ones KNOW that ice has nothing to do with seasons. in some region of the planet, ice is all spring and summer. and blizzards could happens in summer. also the structural shape of a frozen snowflake. the unintellectuals will relate the hexagonal sapes with the symbol of winter. while the intellectuals again KNOW it is just the pattern of a frozen liquid. of any kind. its the most basic energy radiation pattern from an atom. even carbons exhibits the same shape. this is just a simple method to measure how many people in the world that are actually intellect. and do you know, that winter in some region of the planet could means DRY DROUGHT? my ice is no winter ice.
