Definitely going to give this one a spin, the emerger game is where it’s at recently! 🎣 Thanks for sharing!

I especially liked that little move you made in shortening the tail. Very nicely done! The biggest beatis hatch I ever witnessed was on the Arkansas tailwater upstream from Pueblo. The weather was perfectly awful, but fish were everywhere!

That’s the best weather for those little olives! They love it and I love it until I don’t!

That's one beautiful emerger! Love the mix of natural and synthetics. I sort of recognized the originators name associated with ape. So I looked it up, wow! I've seen some videos of Larry. Then I read his obituary. You seem to have tied that fly with reverence❤ Thanks Juan, all the best to you.

Thanks. Here’s something that I did. I tied most of that fly with his materials that I obtained after his passing. I wanted to keep his passion alive and this is a way to do that. I want people to continue using his creative fly patterns.

@HopperJuan awesome, I'll give it a go. I have some natural wild turkey wing quills. I don't dye stuff, but I'll tie some up anyway. Thanks Juan!

fly patterns these days are like new movies; all the same no creativity. Remakes

Thanks for commenting. Would you care to share more information on what patterns you think are original? Or maybe what pattern this one is a remake of? Sure, you are correct to a certain extent but there are some patterns out there that have new ideas.
