Hi guys I saw a kenmore chill refrigerator/freezer around 4 cubic feet bigger than a dorm fridge with a freezer big enough to hold 2 gallons of water running on 50 watts for under 250 dollars definitely worth looking into 🤔😜😃♥️👍✌️
@GrassRootsLiving3 жыл бұрын
Interesting! Thanks for sharing this info. I am sure others that watch the video will check the Kenmore out as well. That is a good price. Does is run on both A/C and D/C?

Thanks! I had surgery back in late November. I filmed the video about a week after that. It did not get air time until last weekend. I feel great and recovered 100%. Thanks for the well wishes though. I can feel the vibes all the way here. That is one thing that can still come across the border. ;)

@@GrassRootsLiving about 16 months and running nonstop for last 6 months. Pretty happy with performance and energy efficiency. I also have Apicool 15 qt I use as freezer. That one works great but cooling fan is a little noisier.

Nice fridge and reasonable price! If you attach some casters or drawer slides underneath, you can pull it out to the isle and access the food a little easier.

wow. thanks for this awesome review. I was asking this question the other day. How much power does a fridge use in an rv? Now you showing me this awesome fridge.
@GrassRootsLiving3 жыл бұрын
Of course, it depends on the size of the fridge. However, for a good sized 5th wheel you should expect the running watts to average 150-200W. This is why I am so pleased with the running watts about 32W. Thanks for watching!

@GrassRootsLiving3 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the well wishes. I am 100% recovered now. :) Yes, I leave a few inches around the side for ventilation. No ventilation is needed on top or on the bottom. It is performing exactly as I thought it would. :) Thanks for watching!

Honestly, I think there are a bunch of great fridge & fridge/freezer combos out there now! Everything from: Cheap Chinese to German compressors with 5+ year warranties... But- they certainly are NOT inexpensive!!!
@GrassRootsLiving3 жыл бұрын
Agreed, they are not inexpensive. We needed one that was energy efficient so that it would not overtax our solar setup. We are really happy with our choice. :). Thanks. 👍
