I absolutely love how people in the comments go like "OMG I'm that type too". Even if the answers to the questions could lead to any kind of reasonable conclusions, the fact that you're self-reporting means they have no scientific merit whatsoever. We all have massive biases, blind spots and insecurities that we're in denial about. For the vast majority of people they're opinions of themselves would differ compared to what their families or friends would say about them. All you get from these online personality tests is the answer to what you yourself think about yourself. That said, great video and as someone who has recently been told to get tested for ADHD I can relate to a lot of your experiences.

exactly, mbti it's a total different thing, it's not what 16personality says, we're talking about cognitive funtions which r "TE TI FE FI SE SI and NE NI" basically a person has all of this funtions but one generally is used more then the others. To know the mbti you need 4 of them the dominant, the auxiliar the third and the inferior. It seems complicated but it's not that much but still, it's not what 16 personalities makes you believe: the example that you made.

Andy, may I be the one that tells you that online tests for mbti are in fact very inaccurate. Not only do questions limit your options for answers very vegue, but it also doesn't calculate personality the actual way. True mbti bases itself in something called "cognitive functions" wich can be summarised by Si: organization Se: adaptavility NI: insight Ne: abstractivity Ti: logic Te: goals Fi: moral compass Fe: empathy Each personality holds their functions by dominant, auxiliary, terciary and inferior. (For example, INTPs are Ti-Ne-Si-Fe respectively) Many people with experience in mbti will recommend one studies the topic by oneself and decides to chose what they are via self discovery. Wich imo is the most fun part of mbti

I mean, Andy said he completely broke down when he was scared for his dog - and don't get me wrong, I would too, and I think almost anyone with a dog would. But he also did keep a clear head and got help and saved her. And I think that's way more admirable honestly, to be able to do what needs to be done despite the panic. good job andy, your pup is lucky to have you and I'm glad she's ok ❤
@michael_koski Жыл бұрын
Yes, very admirable. I think why he felt mixed about that question was because when he "broke down" for his dog, it was definitely his inferior Fe function kicking in, before his dominant Ti took over the situation to have clear thinking. And probably his auxiliary Ne that even thought of the possibility that the raisins could be the reason his dog was throwing up. Have a good day! ~ Ana

As an MBTI nerd I feel the need to point out that 16 personalities is actually a Big 5 personality test that then transfers to the MBTI label system so take it with a heavy grain of salt. Personality types are fun on paper, but far from realistic, as in, literally an hour later someone could be in a different mood and they get a different personality type, which means that's not their personality, it's their character/s, the way someone appears to behave at certain times, which obviously differs greatly. Personality is the total pattern and reactivity of shifts in character, the more stress someone goes through, often the more pronounced these characters get, until you end up with something like dissociative identity disorder, where someone's brain will actively try and remove or change memories of the other characters in their head, but mentally healthy individuals will have these cycles too, and some (including me), can even document these different characters that revolve around a central sense of self.

of course there are billions of people and all these people cant just fit in several classes - but some people are not emotional at all and can be recognized much easier. there are some basic titles and as long as you are not in the middle, you can fit to one of them with combination of these topics. the key point is, you have to answer the situation not by how you think its right to answer, but what you do in reality. i try to meet new people, i try to hang out with a few good friends - but in fact im more introverted than i might look or how social i try to be. surely it all depends on the persons mental health. some people are mentally sick and they dont even know about it until they get serious trouble

It's possible you could be a dual type, given the discrepancy. I'm an INTP and INFP, also informally known as INFT-P.
